In this dramatic sequel to Shadows over Stonewycke, authors Phillips and Pella continue the soaring saga of Allison and Logan Macintyre and the Stonewycke Estate in Scotland.
Great Scot: don't miss books one and two of The Stonewycke Legacy.

This was the first Stonewycke novel I had listened to and was just merely satisfied. It was not what I consider a facinating, spellbinding book. It was okay. Perhaps if I had listened to the previous stories of Stonewycke and knew the background of the characters, I would have found it more interesting. My recommendation is to listen to them first.
This is the 6th book of Stonewycke. Best series after Outlander.
I loved Ian & Maggie especially Ian.
So many, I could'nt pick a favourite scene, there were so many.
This is not a stand alone book.
Davina Porter is a superb narrator.
"Go for Diana Gabaldon's books instead"
It's almost as though Diana Gabaldon read these series, and thought that the plots were good, but she could do better! The Stonewycke books do have interesting plots and characters, sprinkled with a bit too much God is love preaching for my liking. However, the Outlander series by Gabaldon are 100 times better, expanding on similar plots but richly enhancing the characters and their relationships. Do yourself a favour and save some time - drop the Stonewycke books and go for Diana Gabaldon's books instead.
