Publisher's summary

From David Wong, the writer of the cult sensation John Dies at the End comes another terrifying and hilarious tale of almost Armageddon at the hands of two hopeless heroes.

Warning: You may have a huge, invisible spider living in your skull. THIS IS NOT A METAPHOR.

You will dismiss this as ridiculous fear-mongering. Dismissing things as ridiculous fear-mongering is, in fact, the first symptom of parasitic spider infection - the creature stimulates skepticism, in order to prevent you from seeking a cure. That's just as well, since the "cure" involves learning what a chainsaw tastes like. You can't feel the spider, because it controls your nerve endings. You won't even feel it when it breeds. And it will breed.

Just stay calm, and remember that telling you about the spider situation is not the same as having caused it. I'm just the messenger. Even if I did sort of cause it. Either way, I won't hold it against you if you're upset. I know that's just the spider talking.

"Like an episode of AMC's "The Walking Dead" written by Douglas Adams of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." …Imagine a mentally ill narrator describing the zombie apocalypse while drunk, and the end result is unlike any other book of the genre. Seriously, dude, touch it and read it." –Washington Post

"Kevin Smith's Clerks meets H.P. Lovecraft in this exceptional thriller… David Wong (Jason Pargin) is a fantastic author with a supernatural talent for humor. If you want a poignant, laugh-out-loud funny, disturbing, ridiculous, self-aware, socially relevant horror novel than This Book is Full of Spiders: Seriously Dude, Don't Touch It is the one and only book for you." –SF Signal

Another great and bizarre book!

I loved John dies at the end and honestly I loved this one even more! The angst was so good and there were a couple parts that honestly gave me chills! If you’re a fan of super absurd and yet strangely dark humor I recommend this!!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

I read the first book and was completely addicted. bought this one but never have time to read it. I decided to try audiobooks and decided to do this book first. I have to say it was amazing. the person reading it was amazing. I see a lot of reviews that it is not the same person as book 1 but I can't imagine that it would make a difference to me. this is a must-read book and most importantly a must-read series

Very good read, or hear as it were.

It was very easy to resume. Nice for long drives. Be careful though, they're spiders.

Balls to the walls

This book was intense was start to finish!
Not very Happy with the ending, but I honestly don't know any better way for the author to end this tale.
I will be needing a break before I listen to the next book in this series.

Always interesting

Absolutely amazing and fascinating book. This story was a great continuation of the previous book and made it that much of a better story! Funny and creative

Another Masterpiece by Jason Pargin

I would say this book is a lot more structured than jdate1. Still has all the humor and is wrapped in a nice little bow at the end. This is by far my favorite series!

Unnecessarily Racist but good story

I really enjoy this book series but at times it's feels uncomfortable due to the unnecessary racism directed towards black people. The books could have been just as good without the racism. I guess that's life...

So Nice I Enjoyed the Same Story Twice

Firstly, the book is a great read. You definitely want to read the first book before this one. It’s so much fun, and it’s one of the only books that helps me stay awake on the road.

Secondly, Nick Podehl is a really good narrator! Most men really suck at voting for women; they make em sound whiny or dumb, but not Nick. Great variety, and all.

Finally, it’s also fun to talk about. They have a lot of fun concepts and ideas that I love diving into with friends.

Love the books, hope it keeps growing.
