The owner of the gossip rag where Toots's daughter works is about to lose the paper to his gambling debts. Eager to find a way to keep her daughter employed among the movers and shakers of Hollywood, Toots calls on her three trusted friends - Sophie, Mavis, and Ida - to help her pull some strings. Together, they'll hatch a plan that promises thrills, laughter, and more than a hint of danger. Putting aside her widow's weeds (black was never her color), Toots will prove that you should never underestimate a Southern lady of a certain age, and that each day can be a gift, if you're willing to claim it...

RETIRED & LOVING IT.
LOVE THE GIRLS, LOVE THE PLOT. A GREAT TIME LISTENING!
EXPRESSION. AUDIBLE BOOKS GIVES YOU MORE UNDERSTANDING OF THE CHARACTERS THAN READING. HAVING TAKEN EXPRESSION LESSONS AND DONE WHOLE PLAYS, I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE IT RELATES THE STORY MUCH BETTER TO THE CUSTOMER.
Book was a little busy and all over the place at first but the details were important. I just had hard time keeping interest a little at first. I enjoyed storyline and fact that it is an extension to people within the sisterhood I'm familiar with.
Thought it could have been stronger as I'm used to sisterhood Big Bang endings.
That she read the book to me period. Haha.
Great story the characters are awesome funny you know easy easy listening so can't wait to read the next book
yes, it is just about some women that have been friends for fifty years and come together as a family. I love stories like this it always makes me want to be there to be a part.

I am a Fern Michaels fan I have not read/listened to a book of hers that I didn't like!
Yes. I have many books by Fern Michaels and will continue to read them and more written by her.
Is it over?
Not sure who might enjoy this book. A friend listened to it as well, and wasn't impressed. We both like Fern Michaels, so we were greatly disappointed.
Vegas Rich by Fern Michaels
Too much fluff. Main character was irritating.
This is a truly uplifting little story full of warmth, wit, friendship and laughter, and Natalie Ross narrates it well. If you're looking for something light-hearted and fun to relax with, this is a good choice.
