What You Wish For

The beginning is hard to hear but the rest of the story is worth your time. Almost a fairy tale ending!

Too...much

I am not sure if it's the narrator or the book but the whole thing was a lot for me to listen to. The story is about a woman in her 30's but the narrator's voice is much older than that so it was very hard for me to picture this book in my head.

Oh, so good

I loved every minute. The voice actor was one of the best I’ve listened to. They can make or break an audiobook for me. More please!!

The readers voice

The overall Story was great, I wish they would’ve elaborated on Daniel’s punishment for being an abuser. The readers voice was a turn off. She sounds older than the character!

This story was a very enjoyable read.

WOW helen lives through twists and turns and so much drams. She lives a kanundra of life's events not always ending on top but always head up and going forward.

Narrator was awful for this book

The storyline was not terrible, although a bit slow to get into. The main character was very whiny. Ultimately, it is the narrator that was the worst part. She is not the right narrator for this book. The main character is supposed to be 28 years old. The narrator sounds elderly. Also, always sounds like she has something in her mouth? Dentures? Dry mouth?

What You Wish For

I loved this book and every character including the dogs. Narrator’s voice almost threw me off but decided to listen anyway! Turns out she is the perfect person to read this book. She has the ability to voice each character as you might imagine them to sound! Great job on the overall performance! I’m really glad I listened!

Enjoyed the story.

Hated the narrators, especially Ellen. One the voice seemed too old for the character and two I almost had to stop listening because of the throat and swelling noises. It was awful.

Little corny at times

Thought some of it was corny. It was ok - listened to the end. The narrator is talented but not right for this book. I always had on the forefront of my mind how old the main character was. I kept picturing a woman in her 79s and it wasn’t working for me.
