Character development was excellent and had my attention
I enjoyed the detailed and nuanced character development. It set the story firmly for each adventure in the main character’s life. I had a hard time putting the book down because I couldn’t wait to see how it unfolded. This was a real page turner!

Easy read book by Fern Michael
This book was easy to listen to and the performance was good. I like Fern Micheals and this book was good about an FBI agent turned Guidance Counselor. The ending was not very detailed and I wished it had gone longer.

I don’t know where to start
This book was so incredibly dull. The narrator doesn’t help matters. The author switches between first person present tense and past tense and it reads like some kind of child’s retelling of a book she read. I’m not usually one to give bad reviews but this book was painful. I liked the story, but the writing style is cringy.

Just a series of bland short stories.
There was never any excitement leading to intrigue. No moment of wondering if the heroine was in danger. I kept looking back at the preview to make sure I was reading the book that was described, because that part never showed up until the very end.
