When an unexpected event occurs, Benny is left questioning everything he's ever known. Krystal, Darryl's first love, wants to make things work with her current boyfriend. Yet having Darryl back in her life sends her happy home spiraling out of control. And, last but not least, Avery, Connie's husband, doesn't care about anyone or anything when a financial opportunity comes his way - that is, until he notices how much time his wife is spending with their new neighbor.

Everything seems to be going well, until someone is murdered, and everyone becomes a prime suspect.

Good Story

This was a great book to listen to. Hope there is more to their Daryl story in the future.

the story is great. the narrators take away from the great storyline. Its worth the price of admission, though. I can't wait for the movie.

Unbelievably excellent

Everything from beginning to end was wonderful.
My only con is the performers. The same voice for Connie was used for Nancy and sometimes you got confused.

I love Carl Webers books, and once again he put out a story with lots of drama, fast pace, and entertaining!! My favorite part of the book was the ending, it was so unexpected!!

A page turner. I liked the women sitting on the stoop talking about everyone including them selves.
