This book was okay. Some of the characters were annoying but in the end it was an okay story.

Surprising twists, that makes you think...
Off to read another book by Liane Moriarty.

Caught by surprise! Original Storyline

usually bored as i guess where a story it's headed. this story was fresh,deep, but still ask easy listen. it was hard to pace myself tho make this purchase last as i wanted to just keep gobbling it up!
i had no idea from the innocuous beginning that this would be such a powerful book. take the risk, you won't be sorry!

A real page turner ( so to speak )

I really enjoyed this book. it can be a little depressing at times but a realistic read.

Fun read, occasionally slow

I think this was a fun an interesting read, although it occasionally felt very slow. The characters are interesting and dynamic but it seemed that the plot occasionally got lost in trying to give life to the characters. Dialogue sometimes felt endless and pointless- to the point where it made a couple of characters seem incredibly irritating. I would suggest this book as an easy read when you are tired or when you aren’t looking for something to steal all of your attention. The narrator is lovely and brings real life to the story.

Mesmerizing

Fantastic story that’s filled with surprising twists, and unexpectedly forces you to take a deep look within yourself to ask, “What would I do?” I found a bit of my personality in each of the characters.
The only negative? I didn’t get much done over the course of a few days because I could not STOP listening!

An entertaining book

Interesting look at how relationships are influenced by tragedy and secrets and how we judge others when don’t really know them.

Fascinating

The author had me sucked into this story right from the beginning. She described the complex nature of each character, which helped the reader to feel stronger emotions for the characters that covered all ends of the emotional spectrum!

Boring and predictable

I found this to be a boring and predictable story, I finally had to just stop listening to it. Maybe it’ll improve at the end, but I’ll never know! Also, the lilt to the narrator’s voice kinda makes me crazy.

Complete fine but not anything more

It’s quite obvious what the husbands secret is so this is not a big mystery book. You follow the characters and how they’re lives have been affected by this secret.

Super easy listen.
