Gripping, you feel all the feels.

I had trouble at the beginning separating the characters and listened multiple times. That was no hardship, it's so well written with a storyline that could parallel any one of our lives.

Loved the accents!

I really liked this book....it proves to show how people have pre-conceived notions of others and stereotype others based on what they’re wearing, how they present themselves, or what they have. I also liked the storyline and especially loved the narrator’s accents for the different characters.

Worthwhile and entertaining

Was very entertaining, I appreciated the fact that the very individual lives were interwoven so tightly so unknowingly. I didn't have any idea on premise prior to starting the book but was looking forward to continuing listening every time I had to stop.

Amazing narration

This is my first Moriarty story (besides the Big Little Lies TV series), and, wow, the writing is amazing. The detail really helped me to know the characters, which is my favorite thing in any story. The narration is EXQUISITE! The narrator’s slight change in tone with each character’s thoughts is so perfect you may not even notice she’s doing it at first. Loved every second of this book.

Just okay for me

The book dragged on and on. A lot of side chatter and conversation. It took forever to get to the point. I'm not sure that the end was satisfying either.

Wow!

Not at all what I expected! Was a little disappointed when I heard the word “epilogue” far to early I thought, but was amused by and satisfied with that ending.

Felicity, the "fat cousin"

I was not appreciative of how the author kept reverting back to the emphasis of this characters weight. We get it. She was very fat. It didn't need to be said over and over.

Story line keeps one guessing!

I always Liane Moriarty’s character development. They are rich and complex while struggling with modern day morality. And Caroline Lee narrates beautifully. A lovely weekend listen.

Wow!

I really enjoyed this! The internal conversations that characters have with themselves sound just like the ones I have with myself! Lol

Many characters

Once you get to know the characters it is an excellent book. With chapters numbered it was difficult to distinguish the characters until about chapter 7. Wish authors would title chapters such as; Tess… Rachel… etc
