Problem at Pollensa Bay | [Agatha Christie]

Problem at Pollensa Bay

Every great sleuth has his, or her, own preferred method of deduction. Take the charming Parker Pyne, who relies upon an intuitive knowledge of human nature to solve the "Problem at Pollensa Bay". Or Mr Satterthwaite, who seeks inspiration through his collaboration with the enigmatic Mr Quin in "The Harlequin Tea Set" mystery. Then, of course, there's Poirot, whose measured analysis of motive and opportunity is tested to the full in "Yellow Iris".

Publisher's Summary

All great crime writers have their favourite creations. Similarly, every great sleuth has his, or her, own preferred method of deduction. Then, of course, there's Poirot, whose measured analysis of motive and opportunity is tested to the full in "Yellow Iris", when he receives an anonymous call about a matter of life and death.

    "Excellent but incomplete"
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Hugh Fraser is an excellent reader. Unfortunately only four stories are included:
    Problem at Pollensa Bay
    The Second Gong
    Yellow Iris
    The Harlequin Tea Set

Be warned: the official book has four more stories which are NOT included.
    The Regatta Mystery
    The Love Detectives
    Next to a Dog
    Magnolia Blossom

    Therefore 3 stars

This audio book was a collection of short stories. I'd not heard of it so I took a chance on it.
Hugh Fraser did his normal great job of narrating the stories. I really enjoyed not taxing my brain two much, so I just enjoyed listening to it now 8ve got the job of chosing the next book to read.
