Excellent Read Indeed

He's done it again. Mr. Dickey has pulled us in again. I loved the way EJD fused the character, Nia's thoughts with the undeniable wonder of Anais Nin. The story is rather erotic but still kept your attention. The narrator did a superb job with keeping the erotica indeed EROTIC to the ear and with the different voices! When I finished this book I was missing the characters like they were real people! (Don't tell nobody) I loved this book as I do ALL of EJD's books. I am eagerly awaiting his next book! You go Mr. D!!

Displeasure

There is such thing as too much of a good thing. I'm no nun, but there was so much sloppy sex in this book that it turned me off. There was never any mention of protected sex, or the possibility of pregnancy or disease. These are educated, mature adults who should know better! It just got really gross. The characters' growth and numerous plot twists made for an interesting read, but the graphic detail of the incessant orgies became distracting.

Mr. Dickey has done it again!

I have been a fan of EJD for several years now and I have never been disappointed. He has a brilliant mind. Whenever I read one of his books or listen to an audio, I am drawn into his story. I feel like I know the characters personally! Whenever I'm asked about books I read \ listen to, or who is my favorite author, Eric Jerome Dickey is at the top of my list! I am a fan girl! 👏🏽😄

I was pleased in thinking this would be a book about a young woman discovering her self and finding love & pleasure... But disappointed as the entire book is too much sex and not enough story. I thought EJD went into depth and is extremely descriptive on things that didn't even matter to the story line and not enough story. In my opinion its good if you're looking for erotica, but if you're looking for a romance story about a woman coming of age in her sexual liberation with a man that is as in love with her as she is with him, this ain't it. And I Hated the ending.

Hot and well written!

I've owned this book for years and decided to check out the audible. Love it then and love it now. I've always appreciated his talent in tapping into a woman's' voice. I'm in my early thirties and find that I can seriously relate to Nia. She's young, intelligent, uninhibited and owns her sexuality!

This was a very hot and steamy book but during the steamy parts he just took to long to get to the point, But the book was great very very hot...

I am in love with this book as I have read it multiple times, but her reading of it was absolutely awful. It is extremely hard to listen to this.
personally it's due to the fact that she sounds older. it's off putting for her to be the voice of thus kind of novel. She takes the fun out of the book for me
