There’s a portion of the recording that skipped. No way to avoid it, no matter how many times you try to use the 10 second rewind, it still skips.

Good Story/Spoiler Alert!
This was a good story. I liked each of the characters, except Shelby I disliked her character so much, and not just because of her lie, because, in my opinion, she wasn't the right lady for him. They were not equally yoked. I know, Ultimately it was her decision, I just couldn't get pass her deceit.😔

I like the storyline but...
I like the storyline but I felt in my opinion it took too long and certain parts to get to the point. also what I had a problem with is that it stayed at 8 sad point for too long

A Listen in Nostalgia
I have loved EJDs novels since I was in school and I have fond memories of listening to his books on tape. I listened to this in less than 24 hours and it felt good to hear the narrators, the old late 90s to early 2000s references. To hear good and relatable storytelling.

This is my 4th time listening to this book!! I can't put it down!! Even though I know what's gonna happen I keep listening! Please Mr. Dickey do a follow up to this book!! 🙏🙏 We HAVE to know what happens with Debra, Terrell, and Shelby. I think this is my favorite one by far!!..JK so hard to choose.
