Amazing story..... but...
Well written and engaging. But.... the reader swallows so annoyingly loud. It takes some effort to ignore and move past. But she does the voices so well it sort of makes up for it!

If you could sum up Pearl in the Sand in three words, what would they be?
Great Story Line
Who was your favorite character and why?
Rahab was very believable.
Have you listened to any of Laural Merlington’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No I haven't, but I believe they would be good.
Who was the most memorable character of Pearl in the Sand and why?
Rahab and her life seemed to be a very plausable story and one we could relate to.

Loved the themes in this story
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
This book was so much more than just telling the story of Rahab - the author did a great job of going deeper and explaining the spiritual aspects of the story
What didn’t you like about Laural Merlington’s performance?
The voices got to be annoying. Did not match characters - sounded too cartoonlike.

Amazing!
I absolutely loved this book. The author is top notch and spiritually insightful. Also the narrator did a fantastic job. I highly recommend this book.

Excellent book!
This is such a great book. The author re-tells the story of Rahab and makes you think about what her life may have been like. It is such a great story of God's love for us and His amazing grace to us while we are still in our sin. I love the story of Rahab because it offers such hope. I have listened to this book twice already and highly recommend it.
