Publisher's summary

Rachel Gibson’s “eloquent prose” (Publishers Weekly) has earned the author a number of coveted awards, including the RITA, Golden Heart, and National Reader’s Choice. Nothing But Trouble features an injured, prickly Seattle Chinooks hockey player who is none too pleased to be bedridden. Taking on the unenviable taskof personal assistant to the fallen star is Chelsea Ross, a Hollywood scream queen awaiting her big break. From the jump they’re a match made in H-E-double hockey sticks, but once the gloves come off, a heated attraction threatens to melt both their resolves.

Good Read

Any additional comments?

Enjoyed this story and would listen again. The characters were adequately developed, story was predictable but satisfying, and the interaction between Mark and Chelsea was entertaining and realistic. The narrator was probably the best one I have listened to yet. Would definitely listen to this book again and probably will.

No Trouble at all!

Any additional comments?

This is my favorite Rachel Gibson novel. I first read it and then immediately purchased it when audible published it. This has almost all of my favorite elements of a good romance: flawed characters, great (hilarious dialogue) and an engaging plot. I loved how the romance unfolded between Mark and Chelsea. I thought the narrator lacked a bit, she was very monotone and I did not think she captured Chelsea's care free character.

Meh

This just made me hope it would end from about halfway on. It was too much back and forth and not enough intrigue for me

Too predictable

This book just felt like something I had heard before. It was predictable. The steamy scenes were pretty lame. Not worth it.

Loved it

While not as good as other Rachel Gibson stories, I like the story overall. Could use a better and longer ending. What happened to her future and career. Well did she ever get the surgery that she wanted. Would have been nice if they just close that. Needs an epilogue.

I made it to the end

So the cover photo is misleading! I found the main female character to be unlikeable; she had two toned hair and dressed in loud clothes with big chunky heals and was obsessed with getting a boob reduction, ugh! She is not sophisticated like the cover photo. And seemed very young in looks and self absorbed attitude. I am sure this story line would appeal to the younger reader. Male lead was written with more dimension. A kid was thrown in and pretty much a page filler. It was a easy listen because I was not to invested in paying attention and I made it to the end!! I did not care for the narrator at all.
