With a unique style, Noire tantalizes readers with erotic tales and wildly entertaining urban dramas. Featuring one of her most unforgettable characters, Natural Born Liar follows the escapades of Mink LaRue - straight out of Harlem and looking to take a big step up in life. Mink’s got a taste for fine living, and when her resemblance to a missing oil heiress gives her an opportunity to take up residence in a 20-room mansion, you better believe she’s going to jump at the chance.

I would recommend with reservations.I started listening to the book a few times. I did not like it. After several attempts, and several chapters into the book, I gained some interest and wanted to see it through. In summary, I thought it was good book. I felt incomplete at the end as if the book didn't come to a conclusion, but it never mentions a part 2. I can only assume there would be a part 2.If I knew it would end the way it did, then I would not have read it unless part 2 was already available and published.
This was the first one. For the character to be from New York, the reader read the book with a strong southern accent. i just thought that to be odd.
Needs a new title. The title of the book is a definite turn off.
I loved this book from beginning to End it was quite different from Noire other books.
First time listening to this narrrator but she definitely did this book justice.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story from start to finish. the cliffhanger at the end leaves you wanting more, more, more! What happens to Mink & Bunny? What will the Dominions do? I can't wait for part 2!
I am an urban fiction addict!! Wahida Clark books are my fave! I love the Thug Series. I am an avid reader and Audible makes it even better!
There was waaayyyyy too much slang in this book. No one really talks like this! It was excessive. The story was terrible. Didnt make sense at all. The characters were dumb. The narration was HORRIBLE. This is one of the worse books I have ever read, and my 1st by Noire. I dont think I'll ever read her books again. Its THAT bad!
Im all down for erotica, but all of the sex scenes were the same and at some points just plain ole' disturbing. If this man is supposed to be your uncle, why are you screwing him! Really!? *rolls eyes* Im thinking Im reading a book about a sexy con-artist who uses her witt and instinct to lie her way into money, and that is not what this is.... by far. Mink was just plain dumb, and the people who believed a word that came out of her mouth were just as stupid! This story was too unbelievable! The characters had to be completely dumbed down just to make it believable! Smh.
THE PERFORMANCE WAS HORRIBLE!!! I cant say that I blame the narrator. But she should NOT narrate this genre. She sounds like Marla Gibbs from The Jeffereson's and 227, and with her overdramatic style of reading & the excessive slang it bugged the crap out of me! I was waiting for her to say "That Jive time turkey" at any moment....like for real...seriously lol!! Someone younger with a New York accent should have narrated this book. That would have made it a little less painful
ALL OF THEM!! lol. I didnt care about any of them. I just put the book on x1.5 and speed through it, just to get it over with because I didnt want to waste me credit.
DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK!!! You will regret it!
Say something about yourself!
Yes I would. This was a great story and I loved the way it flowed. Keep me reading I finished the book in a day.
My favorite character was Dy-nasty and Mink. The twins were off the chain and are determined to get what they wants by any means necessary. They are comical lol
I laughed when Dy-nasty was trying to irritate Mink every chance she got.
Not sure right now
I loved the storyline but the reader (Kentra Lynn) did not portray a New York accent. It sounded like a southerner and I'm from the south. I also didn't care how Kentra did the men voices. However, the storyline was great.
