I was hooked after text message!

Would you consider the audio edition of Message from a Mistress to be better than the print version?

I wouldnt know, I only heard the audio version.

She acted out story very well.

I would take Aria Livewell. I like her style.

Good listen

The jezebel was something else. This book had me all in. You would definitely enjoy this book and the narrator was on point as aways 

Filthy and Very Disappointing Ending!!

I'll be fair and say this book kept me wanting to hurry and get to the end so I could find out whose husband was the cheater! I couldn't wait for it all to come together and make sense at the end. Needless to say, I never found out. After having to listen to an overwhelming amount of very graphic "love" scenes that seemed to take up the majority of the book (and yes, I like a "love" scene EVERY ONCE IN AWHILE but this was ridiculous), the author leaves us hanging in the end. I got to the point where I'd roll my eyes when ANOTHER love scene started up. I would speed through it just so I could hear more of the actual story. When the narrator said "The End" at the end of the book I wanted to throw my phone out the window b/c I was so mad I'd sat through the entire book waiting to find out who did it in the end. This would have been a much better book if it would have had some closure. But you are left wondering with no real clues even to help you guess. Ughhh...very mad. And I feel like I need a shower to wash away all the filth.

Jesus Christ Which husband did it!!

Talk about being fustrated beyound BELIEF , I'm on Chapter 18 and I still dont know! Imagine you your girls all receiving the same text messgae your man is cheating and either of you know which man did it THE ENTIRE BOOK! WHY!! Would anyone write a book this way!

terrible story and the reader isn't good. it didn't tell me which husband.

horrible just horrible

I wasted 3 hours listening. I wanted to know who the cheater was so I skipped to chapter 17. I listened to the end of that and still no revelation of his identity. I'm all good. this is by far one of the worst. I suffered through!!!

I have listened to other books by Niobia Bryant and listened to Soozi Cheyenne and have enjoyed them.

I will try something else. This particular story was so long and drawn out and was all over the place. It was hard to get into the story.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Message from a Mistress?

It seemed to me that the book was drawn out where things should have progressed and or shifted a bit.

Not good...not good at all!

I'm not sure who Soozi Cheyenne is but I thought he performance warranted a comment before I even mentioned the author Niobia Bryant. That was by far, hands down the absolute worse performer of any recorded books narrator I have ever heard in my entire life and I listen to a lot of books. I cannot believe they thought this was acceptable. Just about ANYONE could have performed better of that I am sure. It took me forever to get through the book mostly because of the narrator (I had to keep putting the book away!) but in part because of the storyline which bring me to the book itself. Look, I like a bit of smut myself. I'm a 50 shades fan OOOkay! But come on was this book supposed to be a chick flick, soft porn, whodoneit, what? I thought it was completely horrible with only the narration being worse than the storyline. It was sooo slow, unrealistic, and the ending (don't worry I am not a spoiler) totally foolish. Gosh I'm sorry sista you missed the mark on this one.

Hope it gets better

I was recommended the series from a friend but I was disappointed with the first book. The story line dragged and I didnt like how it flip flopped from past to present in the beginning. It was confusing. I'm going to get book 2 and I hope it's better.

Do not waste your time. You will never find out who she was really sleeping with.
