Thought Provoking

I really enjoyed this book. I have spent much time thinking about the premise since listening to it. I keep wondering how I would cope with the sudden loss of all "conveniences". I think we all need to be reminded sometimes of the need to remember what's really important. The main character was pretty annoying, but I liked the book, anyway. I'll probably read more by this author.

Introspection Expected

This book was amazing. I found myself often thinking what would we really do if in that situation? It strengthen my determination to press toward a deeper relationship with Christ.

Keep the Listener in Mind.

While the story was good, and the narrator’s acting was fine, he needed to consider the ears of the listener. We constantly had to adjust the volume. He would go from almost a whisper to yelling and back, and it was very difficult to enjoy. I was glad to see the book end because of that.
I am sorry to have paid so much, as I won’t listen to that again.

A great read for all ages!

This book was suggested to me and I was super impressed by this story and performance! Loved it and will recommend to everyone!

A great edge of your seat thriller

We listened to this book on a trip but was we arrived we couldn’t wait to continue it in our home. Great thrilling yet heart warming tale. A deep look into the soul of humankind when we lose the comforts we take for granted.

Made a 500 mile car trip go quickly!

Loved this book. Love this author. Only negative...the narration was a bit frustrating. Volume went from 'normal ' to extremely loud whenever characters were raising their voices.

Thought Provoking

Who needs zombies when mankind in its sinful state is plenty scary enough. 😨

Hard to enjoy, but…

I knew going in that this would be a book hard to enjoy just by the subject matter. But, it is well done and presents topics we should all be thinking about.
