Sad story

This was well told like her other books. I didn't love the fact that most of the book was sad. It's about a terrible time with Judah.

Great series

I love Lynn Austin’s historical fiction books! This is the only one I’ve ever read that didn’t keep my attention the entire time. It just drug a bit in the middle but she made up for it in the end. I will definitely be reading more of her works. I love how these books challenge me to seek out truth.

Best book in the series so far!

I love the depth of this series and this book 4/5 was the deepest! I can’t imagine living during the times of Kings changing and the full swing to an opposite ideology (or maybe I can…)

Interesting

Book four was interesting to listen to because of the historical facts of king Manasseh.. I wonder why it was so easy for them as kings to turn away from God and his word. The author Lynn Austin gave an overview and an interesting possibility of what ihappened. It ended well. I recommend this book to anyone who is trying to get a better view of the book of kings and the prophets.. it’s good to know your history. The facts of what really happened. I reread the kings, and did an overview of Isaiah and others during that time.

Woohoo! Yes Audible, I DID Enjoy This Program

Way to go Sister Lynn! I thank God for blessing you with such a talent to bring our history to life. I look forward to listening to more and hope that Suzanne, the excellent narrator whose skill I'm also grateful for, also employed her voice to the task.

I earned my gold ring marathoner badge from listening to this series during every waking, and some sleeping moments that I could have afforded my ears.

This was a sober reminder of how easily it is to be deceived. Let us not twist truth to believe lies. Cling to God so that in our days of adversity, we can stand in His word. #ForYourGloryLord

King Manasseh

Loved it. Lynn makes the mundane interesting and brings it to life like no one else can. Love her writing style, but the narrator is absolutely awesome.

the enemy lies

I always wondered how Hezekai's son could be so evil. this book explains it very well. the characters are very real and consistent.
