The intricacy of the plot.
The details of the characters and their respective circumstances and experiences.

I will look for more Kirby Jonas books.
Kirby Jones knows the western mountains better than most western writers. He teaches survival methods through his major character-Macalister. His descriptions of the area, the Indians, and the characters are vividly portrayed, like a movie in my head.

Anxious to read more books by K. Jones
