Publisher's summary

Deadwood Gulch stars bounty hunter Cas Everett, lightning fast on the draw and deadly as a nest of rattlers. When Cas returns home and finds his ma, pa, and siblings planted in fresh graves, he vows to call down the thunder on all those responsible.

John Edward Ames takes the reins from the late Ralph Compton to ink a tale of Old West justice in the tradition of the great master.

A Great Work

This work of old western action is great. I could not stop listening as George Guidall handsomely narrated a fine story.

Good western

This is a pretty good western if you are into oaters. If you liked Deadwood on TV, you will probably enjoy this book. Al Swearingen is in this book but not one of the main characters. I did enjoy the book and it held my attention. No classic here but a good solid western.
