Different take on common story

I received a copy of this audiobook from the author in return for an honest review.

The story is an interesting variant from the common storyline. I found it interesting to see the direction it took.

The narrator has an awesome voice but his narration could have served to draw the listener in more completely if it had been less formal and more relaxed. Unfortunately this detracts from the overall presentation. Hopefully that can be improved for book two in the series.

Good versus Evil

I would have given the book a 5 but really do not like the time period (Kings and Queens). I enjoyed the concept involving the werewolves and vampires, good and evil. The narrator saved the day for me. Really liked the Orphans by Mike Evans. <3 great story

I love this first book. it enjoy the fact that we got a begin to how the wolves and vamps become who they were and why. I great story , Mike Evans hits it out of the park again. Can not wait for book to the ending had me wanting more

another great book by a great author

S.W. Salman, did a excellent job narrating this book. I loved every part of this book. I actually love all the books by this Author.

Damn great listen

Mike Evans has nailed it out of the park.
I usually listen to books at night before i sleep. i was up for four hours the first night. I couldn't turn it off because I needed to know what was coming next. I loved it.

vampires vs werewolves

So Mike Evans are a really good author, and I really like his style of writing. This is a fun way to start your relationship with Mike. S. W.Salzman really reads this like a pro! His voice fits the book, and it's a 4 out of the 5 is a high score! Enjoy the book.

One of my first audibles and I thought Shaun Salzman did a bang up

Vamps vs Weres? Yes please!

Sort of a different take on Good vs. Evil, especially with the medieval, supernatural aspect. Looking forward to the rest of the series in audio, as Salzman again proved worthy of one of my favorite authors. I binge-listened all day!

For the most part, I liked the book. There were times were the narrator's sounded like he had something in his throat. It did get a bit repetitive with how the author wrote the conversation parts (Anton said ..., Joseph said ...). This audio book was provided to me for free through Audiobook Blast for my unbiased review.
