I love the book.
I love the book and all characters and Jim read the book wonderfully. but I hated the long pause between changes of chapters and story line. only because I listen on my phone well I'm working and I think it's shutting off due to incoming tex or im
so I found myself checking my phone until I got used to how he read. but other than that I love every second can't wait til I get second book. which will be tomorrow since I stayed up til 2 am finishing this one.

I forgot how much I loved Beth & Wrath's story!!!
I haven't read this story in so many years and I just love the series so when this audiobook went on sale I grabbed a copy. I am so happy I did! I forgot how much I loved Beth & Wrath's story and it is so much more exciting in audio form!
JR Ward did such an amazing job introducing her new vampire world to readers. Jim Frangione did an amazing job bringing the characters to life.
If you are looking for sexy, exciting, alpha vampire males, tons of action, brotherhood love, and absolute soulful love this is the audiobook for you!

One of THE BEST series. I love this world!
This is my third time going thru the series-my second time listening to it via audio. I love this world. It and it’s characters appear a bit cheesy at first, with their strange words and ultra-macho vampires. (And the way the character names are spelled when you see them in print is almost funny.) But the world is fantastic and complex, and the Brotherhood is just as alluring to me as it was the first time I started this series over a decade ago. Dark Lover is a great set-up for this very-long series, and it is pleasing that most of the characters get page time and scenes of their own in this book. Jim Frangione is THE voice of the Black Dagger Brotherhood, and I enjoyed listening as much with this read as I did my last, back in 2013.

Love the Book Not crazy about narrator
I love this series. Have all books in print but wanted them on my ipod too. I will buy all of the books in audio too, but I'm not thrilled with the narrator. Sounds very tinny almost like he's talking in a tin can.

Fantastic.
Great story!!! Got to love a brooding alpha with a sweet romantic side.
On the reading, it was a Bit weird on the transitions. At Times I thought my player paused cause he took such a break and others it rushed on to the next chapter. Great voice though!!
