I forgot how good these were!!!

I almost pushed this book into my wishlist, I am kind of over insta love stories right now, but I'm SO glad I bought it! These books have the same sharp wit I remember from shows like the West Wing...it's quick, it's witty, it's cerebral, it's magical!

This is the story of Will, friend of Bennett and Max, stars of Beautiful Bastard, and Beautiful Stranger. Will is a scientist and he is a player...well as he puts it he has "friends" but no one he would introduce as a girlfriend. His best friend Jensen has a problem, his baby sister is so obsessed with her graduate program that she isn't acting 24, she's acting 74! She has no life, no interests outside of school, and Jensen wants Will to show her how to balance lab work and life. Will has known Hannah since she was 12, nice kid, glad to help his buddy out....too bad Hannah grew up to be soooo hot!

Hannah is a lab geek, she wears her brothers old sweatshirts and enjoys her time in the lab. When her father and brother suggest she get out and make friends and her brother suggests she call his buddy Will...well Hannah can think of worse people to hang out with than her 31 year old childhood crush! When they meet up and he calls her by her family nickname "ziggy" Hannah realizes this slice of man hunk doesn't even know her real name....okay well there went that fantasy!

The book is engaging and funny and had me laughing out loud and slapping my stearing wheel....some parts are just that good! I felt there was about 2 hours of made up miscommunication drama which annoys me, or I would have given it 5 stars. If you haven't started the series it is highly recommended if you like hot scenes with an excellent intelligent banter and a decent plot.

The Best of all the Beautiful's!

What made the experience of listening to Beautiful Player the most enjoyable?

Sebastian York made listening to this book way more enjoyable than I was expecting. He did an amazing job. So much so that I wanted the chapters with Grace Grant to be short and the chapters from Will's POV to be much longer.

What did you like best about this story?

I fell in love with Will in Beautiful Stranger and Beautiful Bombshell. So I was really looking forward to his story. Christina and Lauren did not disappoint. I really hope we get another story about them.

Which scene was your favorite?

So many to choose from. In terms of sex scenes- the bedroom in her parents home is amazingly hot. But the scenes with Ben/Max and Will are my favorite. When Max calls Bennett on the phone with Will sitting there in Max's office, had me in stiches.

Who was the most memorable character of Beautiful Player and why?

Will of course. He's a strong character and it was nice to see how the authors fleshed out his story.

Any additional comments?

I love all of these men- Ben, Max, Will, all very strong men. I look forward to seeing if Niall's story will be just as compelling as the others.

I like this story

It's a cute friends to lovers story. It was hard to put down. Just waiting for the leads to finally figure it out but they keep you invested.

Perfection!

This is the first book I read out of the series, but I for sure will read them all now! This book was amazing and had me hooked from the very beginning! The steaminess, the humor, the over all story was all just wow! So well written, I love Will and Hana and I’m so excited to read their next book!

My favorite in the series so far

I love this series! I love Sebastian York as the male narrator and Grace Grant as the female narrator. I love this story I’m particular because I love Will, but I really can relate to Hanna. I wish I had a Will in my life! LOL
If you are looking for a fun series to start I would choose any book by Christina Lauren because they are AWESOME!

love these two narrators as I have in other books as well. Although in some ways the women and men keep making silly mistakes I jave enjoyed this series and plan to read the others as well.

Great Series

I enjoyed all the full length books in this series as well as her companion series. Love the voice talent! The stories are down and dirty :-) fun reads!

What a great story! It was fun, and hot. I really enjoyed the whole story. Some fo the scenes were hot and steamy and some were quite funny. Overall a great listen and definitely one of my favs from the series. Love the two narrators.

Wow!

The whole Beautiful series is awesome but this was by far my favorite! I love Sebastian York as a reader. I listen to all of his audios. Such a sexy voice 👍🏻
