A blessing

Such a wonderful story! I had already read this book years ago, but decided to hear it one more time. It has blessed me yet again. Redemption can be found but only through Jesus Christ, our Savior. Nothing else we can do will change anything. Salvation is through our faith and not our works.

Could easily be TRUE

This story could easily be a true story. It is truly so easy to be led astray and just as easy to find forgiveness and redemption!

The chapters are mixed up, can be confusing

The story was remarkable as usual from Francine Rivers! Too bad about the mix up.

Narrator ruined it

I really wanted to finish this. Really. The story was decent, but the narrator ruined it. All of the characters sounded like elderly people and all throughout you can hear the narrator swallowing noisily. This is definitely not pleasant if you are wearing earbuds.

Great story, not narrator

The story was great. The narrator, not so much. I don’t know if it was a mic issue or what. You could hear smacking, breathing, I think I even heard her stomach growl at one point.

How does she know so much?

I’ve seen this! It’s amazing how deep Francine Rivers goes. She could have majored in psychology! She captures emotion, tension, even sexual tension, brilliantly. So brilliantly that you feel the shock of the cold water as everything blows up. I appreciate all of the hard work she must put in researching. She had to have interviewed many people to get to this level of understanding. Again, I say thank you Francine Rivers for putting yourself out there with your writing. It must have been published with great risk of rejection in our mega-church society. This book is great for anyone, YA to 100. It is a must read.

What a wonderful story. It made me evaluate some things I have expirenced in my life. It had spiritual depth and the situations and characters relate to real life priorities and consequences of wrong or right choices. I really think it is one of my favorites. Francine Rivers is a very talented author.

Inspiring

I loved this book. I appreciate how this book shows the value of the elderly and the beauty of a real relationship with Jesus.
