Publisher's summary

A predator hunts the skies over Earth. Its intent is peaceful, and its mission is essential, but it is the deadliest machine humanity has ever created.

Piloted by a six-year-old girl, the godlike Skalm guards the Districts of TASC. Her family is long dead. Her adopted father is a synthetic copy of an alien, her nanny an artificial mind connected via subspace to every part of the globe, feeding the young girl information, finding prey to satiate her growing thirst.

But the young girl is an innocent, a victim, one of millions the war has already claimed. Her innocence has been sacrificed by a man with singular purpose: a man who will stop at nothing in order to prepare Earth for the coming conflict.

The armada is approaching, its far-off engines now bright as stars in the night sky. They mean to kill us. They have the power to do so. And as oblivion's maw opens up to engulf us, we brace ourselves for battle.

We will fight to the last. Live or die, we will leave a scar upon our attackers that will last an age, even if we ourselves do not.

Gripping Series

I thoroughly enjoyed this entire series. I've attempted involvement in various series before, but a rapid loss of interest in them have made me wary to even begin any new ones - as they quickly become redundant and predictable. The Fear Saga contained many surprising and ever-evolving concepts which, in my experience, is becoming more and more difficult to find. I would love for you to create additional storylines involving those remaining exceptional characters so that this series can continue. This one definitely captivated me.

awesome, but....

not the ending the saga deserved.
seemed forced and restrained by a lack of time, as if it was forced to be published before the end was anything but a rough scetch.

Pure Genius

Beyond all that came before and far exceeding my hopeful expectations per previous reviewers.

I can relate this Audible experience as though watching Star Wars, Terminator, Dune, Blade Runner, etc. for the very first time. This is a future epic Sci Fi trilogy to rival all that came before should it somehow one day be accurately translated to a movie epic considering Moore's law equivalent to film and graphics technology. Perhaps in a few decades or so?

For the present however, only individual imagery and a discerning and educated subconscious minds' eye will appreciate and comprehend the magnitude and colorful extent of this masterpiece. Perfect in every manner, a mind-bender where all ends are carefully woven together to become palpably realistic and fantastically genuine. Bravo!

Thank you, Stephen Moss and R.C. Moss, et al. on so very many levels. You give me hope that there is no such thing as a human creative plateau...

Awesome series

loved this series. I will be looking into more Stephen Moss books. And as always R.C. Bray preformed it perfectly. It was other narations of his that brought me to these books.

It's is a well written and engrossing story. while the science fiction concepts may not be the most profound we've ever seen the story is very entertaining.

Well worth the wait!

I hope that there will be more titles in the future in this universe. The audible experience was pleasant and the voice acting outstanding. If you are into sci fi this series is a must.

Did Stephen Moss just want to hurry up and finish?

Nothing as good as the first 2 books. Very disappointing with the ending. I honestly expected much more because of the first 2 books.
