For the last two months, Brianna has discovered something she never thought she would again: Hope. After the horror of being Ian's slave for ten months, a fate she never imagined she'd escape, it feels as if she is living a dream. She has freedom she hadn't expected to have again, and she wakes up every morning not fearing what the day will bring.

There is also Stephan. The man who saved her from the daily torture she had to endure at the hands of Ian and his friends. The same man who makes her heart race with just the thought of him. Life is good. Outside forces are determined to conspire against them, however. When Brianna's father shows up on her doorstep, it sends her world spiraling out of control. He brings with him new information about how Brianna ended up in Ian's clutches, but will it make a difference? Will Stephan be able to find a way to make Ian pay for all he made Brianna suffer? As Brianna and Stephan try to find out the truth, their relationship is tested. She is forced to face her past head on and deal with the ugly reality of what happened to her. Will Stephan's love be enough to see her through her newest challenge, or will the fragile trust they've built come crumbling down around them as the truth makes itself known?

I liked this series very much. I have read some of the other reviews and yes I do think Brianna needed to grow stronger in this book. I had to read the last one in the series to see how the story ends. It was amazing to see how both characters evolved throgh out the story. PLEASE we need the last one on audio with the same narrators if possible

We need #4 on audio

Good book and story.. I sure hope this is a trilogy... or at least Haas a sequel.

The one down Side to the whole book was the female narrative - she sounded like Brianna was stupid and slow.

what the heck***

Although I loved the story I found Anna a bit to scared for me I know she went through a lot. I also hope that there is another book because this left a few unanswered questions like why is her father trying to get her back and what will happen with Stephen and Anna will he get in trouble so many unanswered questions.

Good

While some of the content was enjoyable and entertaining, I found that the heroine, Anna, continued to lack in true character development. At times her childlike understanding and mentality makes Stephen's sexual pursuit of her disturbing. Their relationship is too much like parent/child rather than true D/s. There is too little evidence that she is capable of making any decisions for herself.

The writing reads in such a linear fashion that it can sometimes seem like listening to someone read a list. There are no real subplots and no true insight into any other characters. It's an okay effort for a new writer, but the author needs to display some more advanced skills to be of the caliber that I would expect for a published piece.

Some of the rating goes toward the narrators who I did genuinely enjoy, especially Benjamin Ellis. They cannot be blamed for reading the book as it was written.

Good but not well polished

What made the experience of listening to Truth the most enjoyable?

I loved that there were two narrators, it made the characters more realistic. I was hoping there was a happy ending to this book so that waiting for book four wouldn't be so arduous, unfortunately that is not the case. I hope Ms Hayes decides to release the next book sooner.

What about Susanna Burney and Benjamin Ellis ’s performance did you like?

They both have great speaking voices and Ms Burney was able to inflect the childlike quality into her voice whereas Mr Ellis was strong, "dominant" and very masculine.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I cried at the end, I look forward to the outcome and hope to see them together again soon.

It's not over yet!
