I don't believe this is a direct reading from the original book. it seemed to be mostly the partices. I wish I had know that prior to purchasing.

Just what I needed

This book was recommended to me from a friend of mine after discussing some relationship challenges. The book was exactly what I needed. Though I'm curious to read the actual book itself. Apparently this is sort of a "refining" lesson book on what's already been learned in the book. Nevertheless, it was still very easy to follow and understand. I really felt that it spoke to me. Maybe this is sort of like the "Cliff's Notes" version?

However, I think this book is NOT for everyone. It's ONLY for people in the 2nd stage. If you're in the first stage, I think this would be baffling and annoying and seem like it's a load of bull. If you're a bud-drinking, sports watching guy who thinks, "Shut yer trap and make me dinner, wife!" Or a guy who is trying to figure out how to nail more hot chicks and couldn't care less what's in their head, this book is probably a waste of your time.

But, this audio book really really spoke to me. I had "Ohh! Now I get it!" moments all the way through. It really helped me figure out some of the conflicts my wife and I have had. It helped me understand why I was doing what I was doing and why she was reacting the way she was reacting. So, though that understanding, it helped me learn to navigate both our needs to make us feel that incredible closeness. I guess I was lucky that it spoke to exactly where I am. I hope it does for you too!! Truly incredible!

Not bad

Completely misuses the story of Shiva and Kali. Learn the story before using it to justify your views, David. Have a hard time listening after that, but just having this conversation is like nectar for someone who's gone through the bland version of sexuality preached by the common core education system and the over-sexualized media representation about sexuality and masculinity. It's worth a listen, but definitely needs further and more accurate exploration.

Finally a man speaks for men

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

It provides a structured, masculine approach to understanding grand, esoteric meaning to relationships and behavior of sexes. It empowers men without diminishing women.

I really enjoy it

I feel this book made me look at something’s a little different, gave me another perspective on things. The last part was a little weird for me but I feel I have to be a little more open. This is a book I will listen to again and again to fully understand and grasp all the concepts
