Creative, Fun and Hot

Would you listen to The Big Book of Orgasms again? Why?

Yes, definitely. Rose's voice is addictive! She makes each story come to life and made me want to keep listening even after I was done. There were a few I went back and listened to again and again. I liked that whether it was a male narrator or female narrator, Rose brought it to life and made me feel like I was truly hearing the voice of that character.

What other book might you compare The Big Book of Orgasms to and why?

It's hard to say because each story had its own little twist.

Have you listened to any of Rose Caraway’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, I've listened to her narrate Gotta Have It, Smokin' Hot Firemen and Shady Palms (which isn't erotica). They are all great listens, but if you are looking for short stories with all sorts of themes and types, this book and Gotta Have it are ones to check out.

One Hell of a Sexy Reading

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely! The Big Book of Orgasms is already a fabulous collection of sexy flash pieces (<1200 words) to give you a taste of every type of fantasy—but hearing Rose Caraway read the book out loud made it twice as delicious. Her narration clearly conveys tone and the individuality of each character, and she reads each piece with such a clever, sexy voice, you can't help but keep listening.

Which character – as performed by Rose Caraway – was your favorite?

Too many to name! However, some of these already incredible stories really popped with her reading, almost as if they were written to be read aloud. There are many of these, but some of the highlights for me were "Hard Knocks" by Malin James, "Matinee" by Suleikha Snyder, "Weathering the Storm" by Salome Wilde, "Hellfire" by Valerie Alexander, "The Big Cat" by Cecilia Duvalle, "Seeing is Believing" by Heidi Champa, and "There" by Sommer Marsden. Oh, and I confess I had a bias in that I got a huge kick out of hearing my own story read by Rose Caraway, too. :)

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Wanted to, yes, but unfortunately couldn't! On the other hand, the nice part of spreading the audiobook over several days is that you get a good dose of delightful, sexy stories and then still have more to enjoy later—in the car, at the gym, while you're doing dishes. This book is sure to satisfy!

Great to listen to in short bursts

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

It's got a little something for everyone, and none of the stories are too long so even if it's not totally your thing, it's enough to intrigue you for a few minutes. Some of them surprised me.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that it showed me different ways of approaching orgasms. I thought it was pretty much a done deal but these stories gave me new things to think about, and one or two I might want to try.

What about Rose Caraway’s performance did you like?

Rose made every story sound luscious. Even ones I was about to skip I kept listening because her voice just made me want to hear what happened.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, because there are so many stories. I listened to a few each night, and then some during the day if I had time and was in the mood. It's more of one where you pick and choose what you're in the mood to hear, since some are more funny, some are wicked.

Any additional comments?

I loved that I got to hear male and female characters talking about what turns them on in these stories.

Not a fan of the same sex stories. Just not my preference. All the other stories were ok.

Sexy, Short and Sultry

Would you listen to The Big Book of Orgasms again? Why?

Yes, definitely. They are short enough that I didn't get bored and are easy to listen to a few at a time. There are a few I plan to replay for my partner and listen together.

What other book might you compare The Big Book of Orgasms to and why?

Gotta Have It and Frenzy, because all feature very short but hot stories.

Which scene was your favorite?

I liked the sensualness of "The Massage" (who wouldn't want a massage like that?), "Steamy" and the movie theater setting of "Matinee" and "Meeting Cute." Also "Squirt" was very hot. It's hard to pick a favorite but I liked that each one offered a little something different, some super down and dirty and some cuter.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It turned me on and at times made me laugh, especially "Remote Control," a genderbending, outrageous and over the top sexy story that is worthy of a comedy show. "Me Vengo" was also pretty amusing.

Any additional comments?

Rose Caraway is a wonderful narrator whose voice I could listen to reading just about anything. She gives her all to each and every story and even though they're short, she makes you feel like you don't want them to end.

An Incredibly Sexy Bedtime Read!

Where does The Big Book of Orgasms rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

When it comes to erotica, this book hits it out of the park. Rose Caraway's voice is perfect for these deliciously sexy tales, and she tells them without a hint of reservation or pretension. Other audiobook readers in erotica can really ruin a sexy scene; this book was refreshing for its natural and very sexy voice work.

What other book might you compare The Big Book of Orgasms to and why?

The Big Book of Orgasms holds up well in my collection of Cleiss Press erotic anthologies and "Best Of" books. It delivers the same high-quality, incredibly sexy, diverse stories, with it's own spin. Perfect for a quick bedtime read.

What does Rose Caraway bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Caraway's voice is wonderful, soft and alluring. She gives a very sexy life to each story.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were actually several, which of course was the point. :) My favorite thing about this collection is the variety of stories; several of them spiked my interest in their own way. I particuarly liked "Count Out The Strokes" and "The Gallery Exhibit".

Any additional comments?

One reviewer made a really sexy suggestion of reading these stories to your lover before bed. With the freedom of the audiobook format, I think this suggestions is even better. I like to set my iPod into its dock and let it play for both of us so we can listen together.

Sexy and Unexpected

What made the experience of listening to The Big Book of Orgasms the most enjoyable?

They're sexy without going overboard. The stories were each different little vignettes, so I never got bored. Some were more to my liking than others but they're short enough that you can easily skip around.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Big Book of Orgasms?

I am not usually into anything sci-fi but I liked the story Remote Control. It was cute but also hot.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I liked The Massage; it was sexy but also tender.

Loved this narrator and have already bought more of her audiobooks to keep listening.
