Rough and surly, smooth and sultry, or quick and raw however you like it, you'll find it in Studs, 20 of the hottest and best-written man-to-man sex stories to appear in print this year. In "Underground Operator" two men on a nearly empty subway platform indulge in rough, anonymous sex that lets them momentarily forget the stifling summer heat. "Donuts to Demons" finds a self-described "rock-n-roll artfag" searching for a lover as patient and gifted and generous as he advertised on Craigslist.

Aesthetically written by good writer; the outcome of most the stories were ultimately pathetically sad and depressing. Only two stories had a remotely positive outcome. Perhaps the short story format does not lend itself to a positive end despite the skill of the writers.
Five star performance. Shannon Gunn is always good. One star for the depressing effect of the stories even if they were well written. Over all one star, it was like a delicious looking pastry that ultimately was flat and tasteless; unsatisfying. It is like music by Phillip Glass: technically outstanding but hard on the ears.
easily the least erotic collection of stories I have ever read. only 3 or 4 of the stories in this collection actually contain sex most are just depressing sad stories that drone on for 30 minutes and go no where. if you thought that the movie Mask (the one with Cher) was a tense erotic tale of lust and desire, then this book is for you. no criticism of Mr Gunn however.
This collection is all great. It has something for anyone and even if you're not into something the writing is so good you'll still enjoy that story.
"not that good "
the stories are too long and not very erotic, but good for going to sleep though.
"A mix of good to poor stories"
Most of the short stories are good and even one or two pretty hot and interesting. There are however a few that are not that great specifically one of the stories read by someone with an awful luvvie British accent.
Don't let that one story put you off. It was still worth a listen.
