Publisher's summary

Audie Award Finalist, Erotica, 2014

For fans of Fifty Shades of Gray and Bared to You comes an erotic, emotionally charged romance between a powerful man who’s never heard "no" and a fiery woman who says "yes" on her own terms.

He was the one man I couldn’t avoid. And the one man I couldn’t resist.

Damien Stark could have his way with any woman. He was sexy, confident, and commanding: Anything he wanted, he got. And what he wanted was me.

Our attraction was unmistakable, almost beyond control, but as much as I ached to be his, I feared the pressures of his demands. Submitting to Damien meant I had to bare the darkest truth about my past - and risk breaking us apart.

But Damien was haunted, too. And as our passion came to obsess us both, his secrets threatened to destroy him - and us - forever.

Release Me is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.

Great book, terrible narration

I had to stop this one and return. I love the story line and it's plenty hot... But the breathy "when Harry met sally" sex scenes are so ridiculous and over the top. Not a fan but I bought the books and will finish this and the rest of the series via e-book.

OMG

Jeez... I thought the Crossfire series was hot. This certainly gave them a run for the money.
The combination of the hot dialogue, fabulous narration by Sofia Willingham and numerous sexual fantasies and slightly kinky sex made for a very hot but enjoyable book. Other characters were also developed, and I was left wanting to listen to the other two books. Which I did. Wow.

Excellent! Romance, Mystery, Adventure!

Any additional comments?

Love a hot romance with mystery and adventure and this is the closest thing to Fifty Shades of Grey I have found to date. Even better than the Crossfire Series! I loved it, just wish the final book was available on Audio book. I can't find any information on when that will be released.

Addictive

The story moves at a pace that keeps the listener interested. Each book leaves you compelled to find out what happens next. I finished the series in a weekend. Bravo.

Eh. It was okay. Took a little long to pick up for me. Got better towards the end but my issues were w the performance and characters.

Steamy

Enjoyable, active, fast paced, yarn that taps the inner romantic and presents a view rarely seen

Almost perfect

The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was because at times the narrator's performance was flat or even a bit annoying. This would have been an amazing male and female collaborative.
The story though was enthralling. Their connection reminded me of a deep vibration from below rising through layers to be felt at the surface. Grab ahold or you may just fall off.

WOW

Release Me by J. Kenner is such a roller coaster ride of emotions. There are so many feels in this book it's hard to know where to start. It's one of those great billionaire romances that you're not sure if the H is a good guy or a bad guy..... or maybe just a share of gray! Everyone has so many secrets no one is totally honest and an open book ..but that's L.A. for you, I guess!! Damian Stark is definitely an enigma and a hot one to boot. Nicki falls fast and furious, but tries to keep some separation, and has her own baggage to tote. Great story, looking forward to the next part of this trilogy. Sofia Willingham did a great job narrating as well.
