Publisher's summary

The third part in The Blackstone Affair series: A love on the brink of being destroyed. The fight of a lifetime to keep it alive.

Big surprises are on the horizon for Ethan and Brynne as they struggle to adjust to what life has thrown at them. Demons from the past are threatening to destroy the passionate bond they’ve forged despite their vow that nothing will ever keep them apart. A truly devastating loss coupled with the promise of a new hope opens their eyes to what is most important, but is it possible for the lovers to move on from the painful histories that continue to haunt them? A stalker is still lurking in the shadows, plotting evil amidst the distraction of the 2012 Olympic games in London. Brynne and Ethan are on the cusp of losing everything as the stakes rise. Will they yield to circumstances beyond their control or will they give every ounce of fight they have left to save each other and win the ultimate prize of a life together?

Eyes Wide Open is a passion-wrought story that shows us what pure love can achieve when tested and what the heart can accomplish despite danger and adversity.

Finally we know who the killer is

And so the story continues, with Brynne and Ethan. This book had it all, spice, tears, laughter and finally finding out who was the person behind the threat to Brynne. The Olympics also FINALLY take place so that headache can be removed from the equation. We are reminded why little kids are so adorable and yet such a pain and see a different side of Ethan when he introduces Brynne to his Sister and her family. We also get to see Brynne freakout not once but twice, the first time is her honestly being overly dramatic. The girl is a little annoying with her "quirks" sometimes. The second time, is a well deserved freakout. We also get to endure more of Brynne trying to get Ethan to tell her more about his time as a PoW, cause she has told him everything (let's note, she did it out of necessity, not an overwhelming desire to open up to him) so he needs to do the same. A good book, with a few twists and turns that keep you engaged with the characters and the storyline.

So Purrrrr-fect

The perfect listen for me. I just LOVE Shane East!! The combination of Raine Miller, Grace Grant & Shane East is pure ecstasy for my ears. Part 3 does not disappoint. (I would advise to get part 1 & 2 if you haven't already.) It's one that would get way more than 5 stars from me! Well worth your credit. I will advise that this series contains strong sexual content that may melt your earbuds. Enjoy!!

Book #3 Is wonderful

I loved the characters and how they held on to whom they were bending when necessary and holding their ground where necessary. I wished Brynn wasn't so dense and did as she was told for her safety. But she's young and distracted. Otherwise the 3rd book in the series was great. Blackstone had good character development and plot line. Easy to follow but enjoyable enough to listen through. Ethan is very typical in being the kind of man that can only communicate with touch. I liked that stereotype!

terror and happiness

Even though Ethan was doing everything in his power to protect what was his, can it be enough?? lisyen to gind out what's in-store next for this couple. i liked the narration of this book much better read with both Shanr East and Grace Grant together.

It's over :-(

I'm happy to report that this is a trilogy that was actually completed in 3 books, unlike some other trilogies lately that when the third book came out it was called the third in a series.... Grrr, yes I'm still bitter Mrs. Day!

Anyway, great trilogy, everything wrapped up nicely, but not too nicely, it flowed well. We had some highs we had some lows and we had some fights, physical and mental, but every character stayed true to themselves and no one did crazy things to advance the plot so this book gets 5 stars from me! There is room for more books with different characters and I do hope we see these people again.

Love love love this book!

Would you consider the audio edition of Eyes Wide Open to be better than the print version?

Yes! All because of Shane East!

What other book might you compare Eyes Wide Open to and why?

Probably to Sylvia Day's Crossfire series. I like both but this is my fav!

Have you listened to any of Grace Grant and Shane East ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Listened to some others by Grace Grant and she's really great as usual but Shane East makes the Ethan character shine!
