A stalker is still lurking in the shadows, plotting evil amidst the distraction of the 2012 Olympic games in London. Brynne and Ethan are on the cusp of losing everything as the stakes rise. Is it me or the book?

I just couldn’t finish the book. It is just so tiring to listen how annoying this blackstone’s personality is. Doesn’t matter how much he loves the girl, I just couldn’t get rid of feeling that it’s wrong. Maybe I’m getting too into the story that I’m taking his personality too seriously. But he is way too messed up. I just felt so suffocated by just listening what he does.

Very Enjoyable Trilogy

I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. The Narrators really brought the characters to life for me and I was engaged through the entire book. I would definitely recommend this book to others.

THIS SERIES IS HOT

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, it was the first series that I have listened to that had a man and women and I really enjoyed when they did their own parts plus a lot of it was from the mans view which was nice for a change

Have you listened to any of Grace Grant and Shane East ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No I haven't don't know if Shane actually talks like that but boy is it hot, could listen to him forever. Grace was very pleasant to listen to, liked when they did there own voices and didn't try to do each others.

Any additional comments?

Awfully short for an unabridged series and pretty costly for the length

Great Ending to a Good Trilogy

What made the experience of listening to Eyes Wide Open the most enjoyable?

Of course, the main reason is to complete series to know how the story line turns out. But the other reason was because the Trilogy is that interesting. I could hardly wait for the book to be released. And the day it did, I immediately went to my Android app to download it...a little after midnight.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the fact that Bryn was smart enough to leave subtle clues for Ethan to find her. I also loved the fact that she was brave enough to risk doing things others would be too coward to do, just so Ethan could find her in time.

And, the ending was nice. But not an extremely memorable one though. Still, something I can live with.

Which character – as performed by Grace Grant and Shane East – was your favorite?

I love when Grace performs the character for both Bryn and Ethan. Her accent for him is brilliant. But, its always tricky when a guy has to do a female's voice. It doesn't quite have the same flare, which is understandable. Nevertheless, Shane East did a great job. I really love his accent.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed alot.It was very comical for sure. But, it had the sad moments too. Like when her dad died and to find out how he ended up dying.

MY GIRL, UGGG!!!!

Where do I begin?? The first book was short and sweet with lots of promise, I love Grace Grant she was awesome as always. I listened to second book that also showed some promise but was not very exciting. I hesitantly pre ordered third book thinking there would be some pay off, but alas no. First off the male narrator was good for male voices, quite sexy, but his female voice reminded me of monty python movies when the men played the female parts. I am not sure if I am a big fan of duel narrators as seems to be the new trend. I had a hard time finishing this book, nothing happened but gratuitous semi boring sex. My eyes are sore from rolling them back in my head so much. The dialog was so sappy and sweet and if I hear "My Girl" one more time I will scream!!, still I trudged on thinking It would have something exciting happen but sadly it never did. The little bit of suspense at the end that it finally revealed was wrapped up immediately and never explained all of it. So maybe Its just me but I give this book a big thumbs down.

Forgettable

Just “okay” not the best and definitely not the worst book I’ve read/listened to but not much of a plot or climax.

Recommend reading not listening

This series is pretty well written and the story is interesting. I think my rating would likely be higher if I had read the book.

The female narrators did pretty well but at times it was difficult to follow the character changes during conversation. The male narrator did a good job with his primary role and I personally enjoyed the accent. However, when he performed Brynn's parts (especially during steamy scenes) it came off a little creepy sometimes- thus, squashing most of the heat.

It's a shame. Talented authors commit the time and effort to create these works for us (the readers). But, there seems to be only a few that recognize the importance of a good audible delivery. Frankly, it's often a deal-breaker for me. Not many ppl are going to continue reading a book that is full of typos, grammar errors, and misspelled words. Likewise, if the performance is bad they won't be returning for the next installment- even if the plot is good. It's aggravating and makes it difficult to follow. The information needs to be delivered in a manner that's clear and consistent with the message & mood of the story. It is just as, if not more important for audible versions. (Audible libraries do not come cheap!) Most likely, I would not have finished this series had it not been included in the plus-catalog making it free. It's a shame bc the witty banter and depth of the characters' connection offered a lot of promise.

I must be missing something.

The best part of the first three books, Shane East. It really is the only reason I’m still listening. I feel like a traitor to him as a fan for saying I’m struggling to finish this.

Three books in and I feel like there’s been an hour and a half of a story line and the rest is a bunch of gushing over each other and sex. Don’t get me wrong, I like some good sex scenes just as much as the next girl, but there could be so much more to this story if the author added some action and suspense with what could potentially happen with the characters.

Ethan is a dominant man? This is the first book of an “alpha male” that is so gushy over his girl. The use of the word “baby” every three seconds is just too much. I just can’t.

Grace Grant isn’t terrible, but she sounds like she has a mouth full of saliva when she talks.

I’m just bored. Sorry Shane East, you were fabulous. ❤️

Great conclusion!

As the third book in the series the twists and turns and surprises are in full force. The ups and downs and trials of a new relationship are beautifully written and fleshed out in this part of their story. No need to worry about a cliffhanger as the conclusion is an HEA and very satisfying. I know there is a fourth book and I will be heading there next but you can finish here and be happy. I thoroughly enjoyed the dual narration with Shane East and Grace Grant and they made this a five star listen for me.
