A Bit Much, But It Held Its Own

I guess I'm not a fan of people who purposely disrespect each other to get their rocks off, but I can also see the attraction of it for your inner freak is well.

I don't like how the story kept changing point of view from one character to another. It would have been okay with it if it were an actual man & woman's voice, that way you knew who's point of view you were listening to.

It ends well & it's definitely a cute story line.

Fantastic Debut in Erotic Romance

I was happy when this book made it to audio. The hype behind this debut novel by Christina Laurens is truly deserved. Excellent story line, the relationship and romance develop was stop on. The "steam" between Chloe and Bennett was smothering. Can't wait for the 2nd book in this series "Beautiful Stranger".

Great for What It Is

This is one of those books that if you come in with the right expectations, you're going to enjoy it for what it is and not get stuck on what it isn't. What it is: This is an erotic romance about two young professionals who like to get it on so much that they start to lose focus on other things that matter to them (e.g., work aspirations, family loyalties, etc.), and then their attempts to find a balance with it all. If this sounds appealing to you, then you're probably going to like it because it's just right with the hot and steamy, and it's been highly rated by a ton of people. Here's what it isn't: This isn't amazing writing or a great story. In those regards, it's pretty average, and a lot was underdeveloped, especially characterization and the ending. I was entertained and got what I was looking for with this book all the while knowing it's not in the big leagues like some other books of this genre.

The narration worked for the book, and I have no complaints there.

I recommend this to fans of contemporary romance who don't always need sophisticated plots or characters to feel entertained.

great story, not too deep of a storyline. it is what it is, a story about two people who work close on proximity and have a sexual attraction. so great!

Amazing!

I forgot how much I loved this couple. They are fun and he banter is hilarious. I liked how their relationship built throughout the book and though it was rough they made it through.

By far the best in the genre!

Too short, but very good. Finally, characters that actually seem realistic! Super sexy - very! Well written and well narrated. Very different from 50 shades, but in my opinion better written.

No.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Hasn't most of us had a boss that we thought was sexy, but you wouldn't dare cross that professional line? This is like a dream come true.

Yes. Audio version is AWESOME.

I love Chloe. She is halarious but also real.

Chloe....but they were both great. I love Grace Grants voice.

I was cracking up. the things out of their mouth cracked me up.

Not for a while. The narration was not stellar.

Where does Beautiful Bastard rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of the best books I have purchased from Audible... Actually the whole SERIES is awesome.... just when you think you have read the best book... another follows.... and another... am completely hooked and loving Christina's amazing skills as an author to make me fall in love with ALL the characters in the series!!! Five stars in my opinion!! Cant wait to read more of her books!!

Nothing. Its in a league of its own... whole series is really.
