Wish it was longer

Great narrator! I usually don’t like when a female plays the female and male role but she did a great job

Author new to me . . . great find!

What did you like best about this story?

It had steamy sex, but it wasn't gratuitous. It blended with the storyline to advance the plot. The chemistry between H/h was off the charts!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. I hated when I had to be a grown-up and do the things I should do instead of listening to this book!

The narrator was new to me, too. For the most part, she did a good job of changing voices when the POV changed. I like her voice and wouldn't hesitate to buy another book she's narrating.

I got this book on sale and I'm glad I took the chance. Will definitely follow up with the other books in the series.

Only if they're looking for adult content. This one is long on sex and language, but short on substance.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I would consider throwing in a tragedy or secret illness. Something that would evoke some emotion.

Did Grace Grant do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Yes, but I would have preferred more bass. I was never able to forget that it was a woman narrating for Bennett.

Could you see Beautiful Bastard being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

A lot of sex! The ambitious intern who works for the insufferable, rude, bastard, but hot boss is a good slant on the cat & mouse game of most when boy meets girl stories. Their coming together seemed highly unlikely and unsustainable. But once they gave in to the chemistry and passions they fought…it was on and popping! Chloe and Bennett bone everywhere!

This story is steamy perfection. I am now a huge fan of Christina Lauren. Great performance.

Now I am so happy I read this book. Hot and sexy! Powerful girl and powerful man! I love it!

Push past the beginning & it's a good story

I enjoyed this book.

At first, I almost put it down, the first few chapters were basically full of hate sex and little else; there was very little story presented and I wasn't interested in reading a book that was 90% sex and 10% story.

Things started to pick up though and I was drawn in, I wanted to see how the relationship played out. I wanted to know what was going to happen next! We finally get into who the characters are and see some interaction other than spontaneous angry sex.

I like that this could be someones reality, it's not unrealistic. I'm not going to sit back and say, well that would never happen in real life...

Once I got to the end, I appreciated the way the book started. Because of it, you see the characters grow and you understand the relationship.

There is a lot of sex in this book but the story is good too which really matters to me as I'll be bored otherwise! Well done! I totally recommend this great read!

love this series!

these books are funny, witty, super sexy (like need alone time afterwards sexy lol) and the story line is great it doesnt skip around and it keeps you wanting more. i love how the story switches from person to person so you can get both sides of the story. Grace Grant is a perfect narrator, she has flare and gives each person a personality, instead of just reading the book. well done all around. This is my second time listening to this series because its so good.
