Best. Book. Ever.

I just listened to this again for what must be the 5th time and it never gets old and still remains the best audiobook I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to. This entire series is of course spectacular but this first book takes the cake. If you love sexy, dirty stories with a strong female character and of course an intelligent hot man then it’s a no brainer. Buy this & enjoy. Then tell your girlfriends about it so you can talk about it together & get even more enjoyment out of it.

ok, hey! if you’re new here, i use books like these with cheesy covers and tittles as comfort almost to forget about everything around me. so, coming into this book i had little expectations and it exceeded. it was cheesy writing and ver predictable but i would say that i thoroughly enjoyed it.

Fun read!

Loved hearing the man’s perspective, but the woman’s point of view on this about her work was key and important. Thanks to the authors for that!!

Loved the narrator too. Only issue, sometimes it was hard at first, at a new chapter, to know who was speaking.

On to the next one!

Confusing voices

I am not far into this book and am not enjoying it as much as I could be (listening on my commutes to and from work) but the voice she does for the beautiful bastard makes him sound like a short bald weeny of a guy and not the gorgeous man he's supposed to be. I also have a hard time figuring out who is talking as her voices differ throughout the story, which is kind of monotonous by chapter 5. I hope it gets better, but I may have to ditch the audio book and find it in print so I can hear my own version of this man's voice.

Glad I Took the Chance

Christina Lauren is a new author to me and I was hesitant to spend a credit, but I'm glad I did. This was a quick, fun listen with plenty of steam.
The FMC was annoying at times and I wish there would have been more ground work laid out in the beginning before he made a move on her...it kind of came out of no where and the story almost lost me at that point...but I stuck it out. Really the forbidden angle made this hotter and is probably what saved it for me.

A male narrator for Bennett would have been better

I enjoyed the erotic, creative sex scenes. A male narrator for Bennett would have made it so much better.

Couldn’t stop listening

The story line flows. Loved how it took off from the very beginning of the novel. Wish there was an additional chapter to conclude the story , maybe a sequel!? Did not like the male narration by the female narrator.

Lots of sex, very little character development

Well, if you want a story that is 70% sex and very little dialogue, this is the book for you. I think up until the airplane scene they barely exchanged more than 2 sentences to each other. He hated her and she hated him based on their lack of interaction over the course of 9 months, then they can't look at each other without screwing like rabbits.

At first I could not see any chemistry between them, did not really get the panties fetiche at all. The end was quite cheesy and reminded me a bit of the beginning of Tamed.

I VISUALISED & LOVED EVERY SINGLE SCENE

Loved this listen as Chloe and Bennett's off the charts sizzling attraction for one-another, and their love/hate relationship, went from cool to hot hot hot very quickly with amusing and very entertaining results.

Enjoyed every minute of this passion filled love story and I'm only sorry it's taken me a year to discover this talented author but now I have I'll certainly be downloading the rest of the books in this captivating series that's descriptive, amusing, compelling and, of course, HHHHOT.

Worth a credit? Yes and I'll be using more to find out what's happening next.

Really enjoyed the style...just one big question

Engaging read, but I couldn't understand why the male lead was so contemptuous of the female protagonist. I could definitely understand from her point of view the frustration of dealing with a jerk of a boss, but the level of contempt Bennett seemed to have for her was alienating and unjustified.
