An ambitious intern. A perfectionist executive. And a whole lot of name calling. Discover the story that garnered more than two million reads online.
Whip-smart, hardworking, and on her way to an MBA, Chloe Mills has only one problem: her boss, Bennett Ryan. He’s exacting, blunt, inconsiderate - and completely irresistible. A beautiful bastard.
Bennett has returned to Chicago from France to take a vital role in his family’s massive media business. He never expected that the assistant who’d been helping him from abroad was the gorgeous, innocently provocative - completely infuriating - creature he now has to see every day. Despite the rumors, he’s never been one for a workplace hookup. But Chloe’s so tempting he’s willing to bend the rules - or outright smash them - if it means he can have her. All over the office.
As their appetites for one another increase to a breaking point, Bennett and Chloe must decide exactly what they’re willing to lose in order to win each other. Originally only available online as The Office by tby789 - and garnering over two million reads on fan-fiction sites - Beautiful Bastard has been extensively updated for rerelease.

"The perfect blend of sex, sass and heart, Beautiful Bastard is a steamy battle of wills that will get your blood pumping!" (S.C. Stephens, best-selling author of Thoughtless)
This the first time that I listen to anything by this author. I was disappointed. Very little dialogue, except during sex, no character development, poor storyline and all sex scenes. Yet they fall in love. I was disappointed with is book.
Grace grant did an amazing job narrating this story. She was one of the reasons I purchase it.
Yes I would
Yes because the proformance wasn't the issues I had
It wasn't her proformance with the character of being a female. I had a hard time following along of who was who. Grace was playing both characters and I had to keep rewinding and trying to catch who she was in which scene. She did fine as Cloe but when she proceeded as Bennett I lost interest.
I would've made sure a male narrator played the male parts so it was easier to follow along.
too much repetitive sex; too shallow a story line; not a "bad" book, butt not that great either.
Audible addict, have always loved losing myself in a book I can't put down-esp when I can multitask (drive cook clean!!) LOVE!
This was a very good book. I listened in 2 days. I guess I am going to have to listen to them all now. The whole Alpha male Dom/submit thing has been done a lot. This was different. I loved that the ha was strong & smart & not going to take crap. The sexy parts were hot w/out too much kink. The speaking in French thing was hot! & a nice little story add in. I really do wish they had cared about condoms-for a strong highly intelligent woman she didn't think quick enough for that!
I enjoyed the narrator overall, but since I wasn't reading, just listening, sometimes it was hard to tell- in the end chapters -what they were thinking & actually saying out loud. They had a lot going on in their heads.
I think for a Bastard the dude wasn't quite bad enough. It was a little fluffy, not too deep, but highly entertaining!!! Worth a credit.
I forgot how much I loved this couple. They are fun and he banter is hilarious. I liked how their relationship built throughout the book and though it was rough they made it through.
these books are funny, witty, super sexy (like need alone time afterwards sexy lol) and the story line is great it doesnt skip around and it keeps you wanting more. i love how the story switches from person to person so you can get both sides of the story. Grace Grant is a perfect narrator, she has flare and gives each person a personality, instead of just reading the book. well done all around. This is my second time listening to this series because its so good.
There are very very books that I would really call Laugh Out Loud funny, but this was fits that bull! Chloe and Bennett take live/hate to a whole new level. will definitely read again!
