Absolutely Fantastic

I was a little uncertain at first, but this book really had it all. One of the most engaging character dynamics I’ve read, and beautifully visual in its descriptions.

Unique Approach

Not the average dragon tale. Loved the story from each character's perspective. There was excellent character development, growth and insight. Not predictable. Loved the narrators and the pace of narration.

Good tension

I think this book is well written. I liked the characters. There were some good surprises. I think the audio enhanced the writing. Looking forward to book 2

The back and forth of POV

Story was good. Pace was choppy. Overall it was good although confusing with voice changes and who was who.

Great Story

I really enjoyed the story and looking forward to the next book. The ending I didn’t see it coming so I appreciated that.

Amazing World building.

To be honest, I thought the book was addictive and breathtaking. I loved every moment of it, the ending was intense and I NEED MORE ASAP!

How sometimes they did not treat her right. she just keep striving . overall I liked.

A surprising story

I started this work and was surprised by it. The story starts out with little backstory, but we learn it quickly enough. We follow the main characters as they go about their lives trying to figure everything out. There are some twists and turns to the story. One was a surprise, but makes sense. This book sets up the rest of the series and lets hope it doesn’t fail to meet expectations. I like the mix of dragons, prophecies and intrigue. It was a good story which is why I’m hopeful for the next book in the series.

Non Stop Story

From the opening, a bit dim & creepy, to the final reveal (What???) the story kept me listening. Loved the character development - are they good or are they bad? Not just the MCs but the whole cast of players & their interactions. Tortured heroes, misunderstandings, magic and dragons. How can you go wrong? Only down side - there were many dark noir happenings, blood and gore; but over quickly enough..Can’t wait until the next book!
