Grier and Salena

Grier (H) is a dragon shifter prince who wants to help the people of Qurilixen and prevent war. Salena (h) is a human who’s been transported to Qurilixen and is just trying to survive so that she can keep going with her quest to find her sisters. Their paths cross and Grier realizes that Salena is his mate. There is a lot of action and adventure in this story from beginning to end - new issues and challenges just keep coming, all while the emotional and passionate aspects of Grier and Salena's relationship develops. The world culture building is so mazing across all the books in the Qurilixen series and it's fun that these are the children of the original Hs/hs, as well as some of the smaller details from other books that have been worked in.

With Dragon Prince, stories of a new generation of Draig and Var shifters of Qurilixen begins. This is Grier and Salena’s story. Their story has adventure, danger, mystery, a daring rescue, and romance. When his crystal glows, then is stops before he can locate his mate, Grier believes either he is cursed or his crystal is defective. Then he meets Salena. She has problems which she doesn’t want to cause trouble for the Draigs, and is on the run. Their romance doesn’t get off to a smooth start, but patience and persistence pay off. This is a story that holds your attention. The characters are likable, entertaining, and at times amusing. The ending is great. Grier and Salena get a happy ending, but the Queen gets the last word. Michael Ferraluolo provides an enjoyable narration.

The Next Generation of Draigs and Vars

Dragon Prince starts another chapter in the Qurilixen World. Now it has been several years later. The Federation has settled on Qurilixen but the contract between the Federation and shifters (Vars and Draigs) prevented the shifters from helping the human refugees that the Federation has transported on their world. The Federation as usually is up to playing dirty.

Grier, dragon prince and future king of the Draigs, has been watching the human refugees. He wasn't planning to find his life mate in the encampment.

Salena and her sisters have a special gift. Because of their gift, they were kidnapped to serve the Federation. Salena was lucky to escape the Federation. What she didn't expected was meeting Grier at the mating ceremony and to return to the Federation to rescue her sister Fiora. This time she has Grier and her new found shifter friends to help her.

Grier and Salena knew that the Federation will be looking for Salena. If caught, it would start a war with the Federation and shifters.

There are moments in the story that is humorous. I love Grier's friends especially Payton. Payton is so hilarious. The good thing about it that their friends are supportive of Salena and Grier.

I love how the Draig Queen put the General in his place. I won't say how so you will have to listen or read the book.

The narrator, Michael Ferraiuolo is back for this series. He is the right narrator for this series.

I’ve no criticism of this story. I listened to it without stopping. Thanks for a good listen.

Dragon Prince

I enjoyed this story the characters are interesting and the world building within this storyline is intriguing. Grier is the son of King Ualan and Rigan and is a dragon shifter he is next in line to be king. He feels he has been cursed when the crystal that indicates his mate is near glows but he can’t find anyone. During the Draigs mating festival he finds his mate Salena. After finding his mate he realize that political issues and the Federation alliance will make things difficult if not impossible for him and Salena to be together. The Federation wants Salena for her ability to make others tell the truth even when they don't want to. They will do anything to have her and it could start a war if they find out she is with Grier. Will Grier be able to come up with a way to solve his dilemma and break the Federations hold so that he and Salena can be together and help settle the unrest that has taken over parts of his planet because of Federation interference? You must read this book to find out.

The Qurilixen Dragon Prince (#1) . . .

Grier was not yet the king, but he wanted to help people and banish the troublemakers. In accepting help from the Federation Alliance, the Federation had taken advantage of their kindness, sneaking in large numbers of people and claiming squatters’ rights to take over the city. It strained the planet’s resources and created extreme poverty areas where none had existed before. Grier needs to find his mate, but is this the right time when he is trying to keep track of what the Federation is doing? His crystal glows but he hasn’t found his female. Salena has been running from the Federation, needing to find her missing sisters. When she and Grier meet, she feels the attraction, but she doesn’t want to put Qurilixen in danger from the vicious Federation who are trying to capture her. It is best for all that she leaves to keep everyone safe. Can Grier let her go? Does she know what she is to him?

The world building is really good. The narrator for the audiobook version is Michael Ferraiulo. He does a great job with the voices to personalize the story and make it easy for the listener to get an accurate impression of what each character is like. It helps to set the mood, familiarize the characters, and is a pleasant way to “read” and enjoy the book.

FANTASTIC ADDICTIVE SERIES

Great dragon story linked by portal and pirate space ship to another of my favourite series by this author Michelle. This book is full of adventure , risk and of course happy ever after love. Very entertaining. I recommend it.

Loved it

This is book 1 of the series and is a stand alone book with a wonderful HEA. Had to listen to it in one sitting, could not wait to hear what happened next. The narrator did an awesome job of bring each character to life and pulling you into the story. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

INCREDIBLE

I couldn't stop listening. The world building was great and the characters are extremely likable. I also like the fact that the dragon shifters can half shift & that the Var are all different kinds of big cats.
The main female, Salena, has a backstory that will break your heart but she has a very interesting aspect. The main male, Grier, is sexy, gruff & sweet. I personally thought Jaxx was the funniest but I liked Payton's wild & defiant nature.
A must listen! I can't wait for the next audiobook!

Salena is trying to get away from the federation, all she wants is to leave this planet she never wanted to come to. She also makes Grier’s crystal glow.

While he understands he has to let her go to prevent war, but also wants nothing more to keep her forever.

Her story breaks me heart. You will find yourself trying to help them think of ways to be together. Another crazy and amazing adventure by Michelle!
