Publisher's summary

Mark is a doctor at St. Vincent’s, determined to be the best on the floor. While his passion lies in saving those who need his help, he’s distracted by another physician at the hospital. They may see each other every day, but Mark wants more than a nod in passing.

Jason is Mark’s rival, a talented medic in his own right and a fiery romantic. While the man he has his eye on is a little more aloof, Jason wants to pounce and dig his claws in. It's just too bad that he can't find the time outside work.

Together, the two doctors find that they make each other shine. Life couldn’t be better when the two find a connection so true. But when problems arise and Mark’s fate is left in the hands of a coworker with a side of jealousy, will Mark and Jason lose each other?

Dr. Perfect is a gay stand-alone romance audiobook intended for adults only.

Such An Enjoyable Story

Mark and Jason just draw you in . The characters are so wonderful, that you can’t help rooting for them to make it work.Family and societal pressures are very powerful. Mark clearly has feelings for Jason. Jason thinks Mark is straight. It takes a threat to Jason’s future yo bring Mark out of the closet and allow him to fight for Jason and a future with him. Peter does a wonderful job of fleshing out his characters and letting us truly get to know them. Life can be complicated. It can make getting things we want, harder than we would like. Gabriel’s narration adds depth to the characters. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a happy ending.

This book is really good. The suspense have me on the edge of my seat I was biting my nails trying to figure out what was going on. I got caught up so much in the story that I didn't really pay attention to what was going on around me.

Falling for a Co-worker

Dr. Perfect is a tale of two resident physicians. They work well together, a d make an excellent team.

A supervising doctor chooses to favor one doctor over the other based on social values. The story is fiction, but the situations can happen in a lot of workplaces.

The residents doctors find that not only
do they make a great work team, they also would make great relationship pair... if only other people's expectations would quit getting in the way!

Narrator Gabriel Amari is new to me. His voice and pacing makes for easy listening, and exciting, fearful, distressed moments feel realistic. The HEA was delightful.

Nice to Read. Outstanding to listen to!

I originally read this book and loved it. Listening to it was a whole other level of enjoyable.

Two doctors, Mark and Josh. One was in the closet and the other was out and proud . . . and half in love with the closeted doctor.

It all comes together when a patient dies and one of the doctors are accused of giving the wrong treatment.

I'll leave it there because I don't want to spoil everyone's fun when the listen!

Enjoyable quick listen

This is another great read by Peter Styles, with developed characters (love from afar, friends to lovers).
Both Jason and Mark are Doctors, one who is openly gay, and the other in the closet. They are both best friends and coworkers. This is a great story about love, friendship, and patience/understanding of emotions that each character goes thru. The narration was very well done.
