Wonderfully Conflicted
I must say that Dotie Smith herself, is quite possibly turning in he grave at this new take on her infamous villain's back story. And if we are going for accuracy, then this book missed it by many miles and is an abomination. However, while the book lacks the original author's charm and tranquility, it is an excellent modern spin on one of the most notorious and classic villains of all time.
The narrator is perfect and the book, despite some short comings, is wonderfully entertaining.
