Publisher's summary

I knew falling for him was wrong. I did it anyway, his half smiles and blue eyes pulling me deeper. Blue eyes that made me soar. He wasn't mine to keep, though. And like all good and rare things, it came to an end.

Then, he strolls into my life, armed with dimples and gray eyes. Gray eyes that ground me. He smashes through my defenses, stealing what is left of my heart. Now, my heart is a war zone, past and present battling for my forever.

They say lightning doesn't strike the same place twice. I call bullshit on that theory.

Contains mature themes.

Nail Biting

This one definitely kept me on my feet at the end. The title definitely suits the storyline. Levi or Sol? Who lives who does? Who loses who wins? Drama drama drama!

Great title

Grace is selfish and fickle. No matter what Sol does she reacts selfishly. Did not like the character of Grace. This story makes the first book a lie.

Good series

Oh to have two great guys crazy about you; decisions decisions. Narrators did a good job with characters. Storyline just goes to show life isn’t easy. On to the next book!

Not as good as the first

I was quite disappointed that this book was not As good as the first. I love Teddy Hamilton's voice. He always does a fantastic job, but he sounded better doing the female voice than the female narrator. And the female character grace she's starting to get ridiculous. I haven't decided on buying book three

I really wanted to love this book

Pros:
story
male narrator
Cons:
Female narrator
I think the previous responses were accurate regarding the female narrator. The story was good--angsty, funny, just enough drama. However there were too many chapters wasted on Grace's indecisiveness and insecurities which seemed kinda out of place with 2 men panting after her. I'm still going to read the 3rd one to finish the series --I'm no quitter😁

Waaayyyyyy toooo long!

This story isn't interesting enough to be this long. The concept isn't too bad, but it had some things that could've been left out. His narration is good as always. Her voice made this story even worse 🤦🏽‍♀️😒 she need's to find a new job. Narration is not for her, she sounds similar to Alexa, but Alexa sounds better.

DNF...

Listened to a little over half & skipped to end. Too much fluff in this book. The most interesting part is the cliffhanger. Grace's character is so indecisive 🙄, but, she's young...Not sure if I'll purchase next book....maybe, if a better female narrator steps in...

drawn out but worth the listen

Graces maturity takes a while in this one but eventually she comes around and still has a ways to go. it takes longer than I would like to work through some issues but the narration keeps me in the story

Too much character change.

I really enjoyed the first book in this series. This one not so much. Our heroine goes from a flawed yet strong old soul in the first book to an indecisive mess in this book. Who lets someone take pictures of them after their first time together? Just one example.
I felt like the climatic tone of this book could have been handled with both main characters holding onto the maturity they always had. Yes they’re young but they, particularly she changed too much to just create what I felt like was unnecessary drama. Hoping the next book is better.🤞🏽
