Publisher's summary

"You met him in the Order of the Dragon Knights. Now, journey to the realm of the Fae and witness their greatest legend!"

As leader of the Fenian Warriors, Aidan Kerrigan's accolades are many and his loyalty to the Fae unwavering. When an unexpected mission sends him to the human world and a chance encounter with Rose MacLaren, he's tempted for the first time in his existence to discard duty and claim what is forbidden.

Rose MacLaren, a Society of the Thistle member, yearns to expand her botanical knowledge with her love of history. After her rescue by a handsome stranger, she is compelled to look beyond what her rational mind comprehends and unravel the secret of the standing stones, as well as the man who captivates her.

In a mystical world ruled by ancient laws and edicts, can a fierce warrior choose a path destined for love? And will a woman honoring the ways of the land believe in a myth only spoken of in legends? If they do, will their love be enough to defy death's punishment?

Mesmerizing!

When this book was released in print I was a little hesitant about reading Aidan Kerrigan’s story, having read about him in the previous books, knowing some of his story already and knowing what his future held. However I needn’t have worried as it was totally mesmerizing and it kept me spellbound from beginning to end! Listening to it on audio has made it that much more enjoyable. Alan Manson does a fabulous job with the narration. I fell in love with Aidan and I must say I was torn at whether or not I really wanted him to go on the mission to the human realm knowing the decisions he would have to make. I shed many tears throughout this story and yes felt anger towards King Ansgar for what he put Aidan through. I loved Rose and loved her strength and tenacity. I really appreciated the way Mary Morgan ended the story and also how she included her note afterwards. I will be re-reading/listening to The Legends of the Fenian Warriors again and again, as I have the Order Of The Dragon Knights! The next book by this author can’t come soon enough for me….she is absolutely brilliant!!

Master storytelling

What is better than Aidan and Rose’s love story? It being told in a soft burr. Literally thrust together as the moon covers the sun, what follows is a story of pure enchantment.

He teaches the laws now will he break them?

Aiden & Rose

The narration is perfect with the accent making the characters come alive. He's serious with the warriors making them believe he'll never show regular feelings. He would not believe it -- until the beauty of her name came into his life. Rose. Feelings he never considered causing him to more than consider breaking the laws he so studiously taught to the brotherhood.

Fighting his feelings for her might be a rare time he did not come out the winner -- or would losing the battle make him the bigger winner. With a love that moved across time, life-threatening, and so much more.

An emotional story with the author's usual amazing characters, worldbuilding, steam, and an ending to ... well you'll need to listen to know that!
