A good end of the world adventure.

An interesting take on the apocalypse. I, however, had a few issues with the protagonist. He acted against common since sometimes. But what really got me was his demanding and brutal nature with the girls. A situation like theirs, I suspect, would feel more tender at times. Zac Zaba and Erin Bateman performed very well and I really enjoyed that partnership.

It leaves a lot to be desired.

This book leaves a lot to be desired. The very premise of the book is ridiculous. The obsession with the pandemic and solar flares reveals the author's lack of grounding in reality. The sudden breakdown of society to anarchy and barbarism obsessed with sex means she's surrounded by liberals who are creating that type of society even today. The continual references to being clean and snipped makes the sex a selfish action for one's own pleasure and not the beautiful coming together of a man and a woman. Just so you know, good people are good regardless of disasters and evil people are evil inspite of law enforcement. They will not change over night. I found it very hard to get into the story or relate to the characters at all. To top it off, the male voice actor sounded like a robot, not even reading many of the sentences properly, pausing in the wrong spots and placing emphasis on the wrong part of the sentence. The female actor was just fine.

Fun listen with a decent story

I think the story is a bit heavy on the smut, but despite that its still pretty fun with a great MC. Erin bateman did really awesome with the more exotic accents and impressed me a lot. I didnt love Zachary Zaba, but he wasnt bad, All in all I consider this a good story and another success by Lara.

This is a great series in one book and it’s got great real characters that work together really well and the interaction between them is very realistic and interesting and I fully recommend it

loved that he picked up so many women and they were all cool with being with him..

very suspenseful and seductive/sexual story about a post apocalyptic time that has a good story line and content. It has suspense, sex and real potential humanity situations. I liked it, just didn't like Dom's voice.. Otherwise a good listen, for sure!!

an enjoyable post apocalypse type book with fun times and action. If you enjoy sexy time, action, and a feel of protecting the ones you care about, you'll enjoy this book.

An easy and fun series.

I really liked this series and might even go back through it when I need to just have a easy story to listen to. The relationship between them feels like it fully and truly solidified in this one. The thing that is annoying though, especially with such a drastic drop in the species… is that their family isn’t ever going to grow… no descendants… no hope with children and their children growing a clan or something. Becoming something that will help the world out of its chaos, and find a way to restore order.

But despite that, it was a fun series. It doesn’t seem like there will be anymore, at least for a while.

The narrators do a great job as well. Bateman is definitely one of my favorites. She did a great job with Anya’s accent!
The last scene ending with Anya was the best! The love there was a nice finale for it all!

The Epilogue is a nice addition that wasn’t at the end of the third book. It adds some better closer for the series than how the single third book did.
