Fun read
I did enjoy this audiobook. However, a couple of things drove me a little crazy. The mention of Designs on You sooo many times. My shop or the shop could have replaced many of the times it was mentioned. The only other thing was the cadence used for Connie. It was annoying.

Started slowly but got better
At the beginning of this book, I didn't think I would finish it. But, I continued to listen and discovered that I liked it. I'll get the next book.

LOVE THIS SERIES AND READER! IT IS STRESS FREE READING WITH A WONDERFUL CAST OF CHARACTERS, AN ENTERTAINING SETTING, AND JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF MYSTERY. OH, AND A FUNNY SPUNKY GHOST! MAX IS JUST "THE ELEPHANT'S EYEBROWS." I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE WHAT IS NEXT FOR AMANDA, GRANDPA, MAX, AND JASON (TROPICAL COLOR EYES - LOVE THAT DESCRIPTION).

Fun Cosy Murder Ghost Story
Amanda notices a beautiful shop and decides to go in there, she meets Maxine and is just taken with the shop and decides she would like to start her own retro clothing design business and rents the shop. Not too long after she rents the shop one of the tenants is murdered and after that things get really convoluted as everyone's trying to figure out who killed the tenant. Maxine is a hoot she comes up with all these old slang comments that are just so much fun, never heard the elephant's eyebrows before that had me laughing. narrator does a very good job with the various characters voices as well as the entire storyline.
