King and Charlotte!

I was in the mood for a good romantic suspense and when I saw this, I knew it would be the perfect listen! And boy was I right! 10 years ago, King left Charlotte to pursue his dream. Now called back home by his cousin Wes, he is back, ready to win her heart again and keep her safe. The question is who is after her? After a devastating accident, King's mission is to protect Charlotte. A dangerous ring is infiltrating the adoption agencies including hers, and Charlotte is ready to help take them down. The delicately woven thread that Ella Sheridan has created gives us so many twists and turns, I wasn't sure who she need protecting from. King is the man! He is in this relationship 100% and ready to do whatever it takes to win Charlotte, and that includes finding the culprits. Charlotte proves her strength after the first time King left her, and now she proves what a powerhouse she is. Their love is endless, and I love the chemistry. Spicy, suspenseful, unpredictable and so romantic, I absolutely love this addition to the series. Plus, we get a reunion with quite a few of the characters from the previous books as they all use their strengths to solve the case.

Not only is the book incredible, but so is the narration. Stella Hunter again, gives a performance that perfectly fits Charlotte. Strong, vulnerable, and passionate, Hunter finds all the facets of Charlotte's personality and creates her as Sheridan intends. Opposite her is Jason Clarke, bringing King to life. He is sensual when it comes to Charlotte and commanding in his job. He knows what needs to be done, and Clarke brings love, pain and strength to King. This team is one of my favorites, and their duet narration is wonderful.

Emotional and Suspenseful!

This is the fourth book in the Southern Nights: Enigma, a spin-off series to the Southern Nights series, a Romantic Suspense. I love these series! King and Charlotte's story is fast-paced, emotional, and suspenseful. They are both amazing characters. The supporting characters are great. Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter did a fantastic job with the narration. I love their voices together. Looking forward to listening to Desire Me, the next book in the series. I highly recommend this series.

Everything about this listen and series is amazing! Action packed, fast paced, steamy listen with duet narration that is ON POINT!! Stella Hunter, Jason Clarke, and Ella Sheridan can do no wrong...can't wait for the next book!
