Good But Not As Good As DCI Leslie Clark series
maybe because I listened to the Leslie Clark series 1st I struggled to see the edge in Zoe Finch because in DCI Leslie's series she is softer spoken and political. But I do really like the serie thus far.

Loved It. The Killer a Surprise Reveal
This is a well written novel excellently narrated. The murder case is solved, while the corruption that plays out prior to this story, and during it remains to play out in future volumes of the Zoe Finch series.

I could not get past the 5th chapter
Very Very Very slow. Too many descriptions and lacks character. I could not move on. Jan Cramer is awesome but even she could not breath life in this the first few chapters.

What the sloppy police work??
I love Jan Cramer as a narrator. I love police procedurals, especially English ones with detectives. Stuck this one out all the way to the end waiting for a decent result to the end. Didn’t get that. Oh well, that was a waste of money and time.
