Publisher's summary

Reaper’s work is never done.

My name is Jazz, and I’m a reaper. That sounds dark, but it’s not so bad. I’m a justice reaper, which means I send bad guys away for a very long time. This also means that when the police need help to catch bad guys, I sometimes have no choice but to step in and do my part.

Just after my best friend joins a coven, someone decides to start murdering witches, and it sure looks like the killer might actually be a vampire.

Adding to the chaos, Sir Edward, my assistant, who also happens to be a monkey, calls in Ghost Stalkers to help clear Eastwood’s underground tunnels of ghostly parasites.

Life in Eastwood can be strange, especially when you have ghosts jumping out at you from every nook and cranny, not to mention the Angel of Death, aka, the boss totally pissed about something.

Join us at The Undertaker for a Bloody Mary and some ghostly fun.

Enjoyed this Short Paranormal Mystery.

I enjoyed this listen and will definitely continue with additional selections of the Undertaker Mysteries. The narration was good due to numerous characters to voice and appreciate the skill it takes to do it properly. I wish the story did not wrap up in just a few paragraphs although, it was a short, intriguing and different type of mystery. Can not wait to start at the beginning of the series.

Unique Mystery

I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
This is definitely not your typical murder mystery. With supernatural characters and a plot that keeps you guessing, this book is unique and intriguing. Unfortunately I didn't care for the narration, because I thought some of the voices were annoying/too forced. (of course that is only my opinion and I'm sure others will love the narration) Overall I enjoyed this book and plan to check out more titles written by Ashe.

Different Kind of Murder Mystery

Not a typical murder mystery. Creative and unique with a mix of supernatural and psychological elements. Even though this is only a little over three hours, there are multiple storylines and plenty going on to keep you hooked.

Each of the characters had their own personality, and that helped to shape the plotline of the story. There was an awesome twist toward the end that kept me from figuring out who the real criminal was.

Even though this is #5 of a series, it’s not confusing to listen to without the first four books. The author wrote it in a way that makes it easy to drop in, but impossible to leave.

Narration was okay.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Not your typical mystery

Dead of Night is definitely not your typical everyday run of the mill mystery it is creative, imaginative and intriguing. The different characters are quirky and outspoken. I loved the plot and the twist and turns that left me guessing on who the criminal was. I could not stop listening I just had to find out the ending. This is my first book by Kendra Ashe but definitely not my last I am hooked. I received this book at my request and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review. Do not miss these mysteries.
