While the material contained herein isn’t all scientifically valid, not is all of it new for individuals such as myself, at least the author made several good points on how to protect oneself from master manipulators, Dark triad personalities and the like. Additionally, some of the techniques in this book could prove pragmatically beneficial to some, and the author emphasizes the importance of ethical behavior in seeking to influence others. On a final note, the reading performance of this book seemed to have a slowed cadence which could have been a computing or recording error, which made it somewhat difficult to process. Nonetheless, this work may be useful to those interested in a purview of the subject.
