Cybil is an acquired taste, but her work speaks for itself. Not much has changed in the future here. People are still greedy, cheating, and committing crimes. The villain was dumb, but tried to cover a wide range of family victims in his capers. Good ending. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job.

Maybe it's just me
It seems to be a great story but, the narration killed it for me. Had this been like other audiobooks where the characters are role played it would've worked well. However, this one narrator doing all the characters made it a long listen. It was a free listen on the condition that I make a review. I do look forward to more from this author. More technology in the future but mankind is very much the same.

An awesome detective story!!!
I really enjoyed the author's world building. It sets the story apart from similarly premised work. Detective Lewis is hard-boiled but not misanthropic. The characters are colorful and well crafted.
