Another awesome installment in an excellent series

This one had me wishing for the MC's lifestyle. I can't wait to see where the story goes from here (down into the dark reaches of the cellar, or expanding into the community!). Bated breath here.

Part 2

If you love the slow life harem books, this series is for you. Cat girl, fox girl, and other girls with animalistic qualities look like they may be added soon. I recommend to grab a beer and find a place where you can chill and listen.

A lot better!

I can’t put quite put my thumb on what made this one more enjoyable than the first book… But I’ll probably point in part to a better pacing for storytelling and the inclusion of more lore. The writing also improved. The relationships developed more depth and the intimate scenes calmed down on the porn-like aspects. I believe the author will only get better with time.
For the narrators, I believe that Scarlett performed better. Specifically, her range of emotion and added sounds that have her characters more life.
Both narrators improved with adding some new nuances to their characters. Adding that extra spark. The intimate scenes are still a bit awkward but o believe they will get better with time and practice.

good book, eh performance

the book is very enjoyable. it's got fun and creative scenes to it too. but the performance is meh. they don't make the characters sound authentic when they speak. the words and tone don't always match with the male and the female voices have a bit too much of an unrealistic drawl

Very relaxing

Great slide of life. It’s a very relaxing take on country living and I love the introduction of major to just make some things easier.

fun series

I received this title for free in exchange for an honest review. overall I enjoyed this one as much as the first. it's a very well written slice of slow life story. the mc is coming into his powers and uses them to improve day to day life. I would recommend this series. the narration was also pretty good.

kickass second AB

it brings you deeper into the background of the characters. all different parts come along with a good pace, not slow and clunky. I'm looking forward to number 3.

Love the series

I received a free copy of the book to leave an unbiased review. This series has become one of my guilty pleasures. Good story progress. I loved how it picked up right where book 1 ended.

Life in the Country!

I really liked the book, but I loved the audiobook! The male narrator was adequate, but the female narrator knocked it out of the park, especially the saucy bits!

The story itself is engaging... no epic quests, but lots of world and relationship building. I really enjoyed getting to know the characters and watching them grow. The author does a good job setting up future story threads... something many authors in this genre seem to have trouble with, then run out of story to tell.

A relaxing read, interspersed with enough naughty times to keep your blood pumping. :)

Definitely would recommend!
