The book wraps up on a sharply emotional pivot that hits you out of left field. While I would assume there is some version of a happy/satisfying ending in the following final book in the series, it’s sure difficult to see the way there from here. I frankly can’t understand Cade’s position in all of it though. It’s a bit hypocritical to be honest, but that also comes with unreliable main characters. Not all leads are strong in every way.
Anyways, highly recommend. Chomping at the bit for this summer 2024 when the conclusion comes out.

I love the story.
I loved it but to much relationship drama. Way over done . Half the book filled with it. The ending was predictable. More relationship drama.

great narration, story was disappointing
the ending was very disappointing, I am not looking forward to reading the third book now. I wanted a no matter what we will figure things out, not a hunger games between pita and kaitness book that the author has worked up too. so disappointed.

This is another cliffhanger and the third book isn’t available.
This story is a continuation of the first book in the series. It ends in another cliffhanger. I don’t like that since the third book is unavailable.

Whiny main character
Cade (sp?) is such a melodramatic brat. It’s like watching someone on a reality show where you want to drag them to a therapist. It’s a shame because the non relationship stuff is a good story.

Amazing plot line
What a fantastic and detailed account. Ma cliffhangers, characters with depth, personality, and an overarching story within the story within the story. I can’t wait to listen to the next instalment and anxiously waiting for its release.
