Publisher's summary

It should have been the start of something wonderful...

Max is living the screenwriter dream. He's not even thirty, he's just won an Oscar, and he's dating the gorgeous star of his movie. But after that one magical night, everything crumbles. The movie star dumps him, and his latest screenplay is a blank document that stubbornly refuses to write itself.

So Max decides to disappear into the middle of nowhere and maybe obscurity. He's just getting settled into his new life when suddenly someone is trying to kill him.

Gorgeous Gentry Fox seems like he wants to help, but the way he keeps showing up at just the right times is suspicious. Is he the aw-shucks good ol' boy he seems, or part of the plot to kill Max? Just as importantly, is he single?

Where Foxes Say Goodnight is a paranormal romance featuring one heartbroken screenwriter, one down-on-his-luck hunk, some missing jewels, and a grandmother's meddling ghost. It's a standalone novel with a guaranteed HEA.

Holy crap.

Absolutely loved this book. It had so many current and wonderful points.
Max and Gentry..yum. The fact that it was a murder mystery on top if the other topics was great. Five stars all the way.

Cute story with relatable characters

My biggest pet peeve with cozy mysteries is when the main characters investigate crimes for the flimsiest of reasons. This was not that book. Max was a great fish out if water character, and everything that happened felt natural; not forced. This was one cozy mystery I didn't have to roll my eyes at.
The romance side was sweet and just the right amount of getting-to-know-you-angst. As with the mystery it flowed well, the mystery and romance angles complimenting instead of distracting each other.
Highly recommended

Just a hint of paranormal

A sweet small town story with a little mystery and a hint of paranormal. Not a story about fox shifters though. Great narration and mild steam, with likeable characters.

Small town, paranormal shenanigans, cozy!

Audio review - Greg Boudreaux did a great job!

This was an easy listen, had some instalove/instalust going on, some 'moving into a new house' and new beginnings elements, a ghost that isn't spooky, and smaller town shenanigans.
